Rivers kept trying to find mismatches for Allen and Williams to exploit, but the Steelers kept finding answers. During a third and long, Allen was lined up in the slot. That's traditionally where he's at his best and is one of the NFL's premiere threats while lined up there.

Guessing the Steelers were (again) content with allowing Rivers to pass for 320 yards?
It’s refreshing to see a physical Defensive effort by the Steelers but for maybe 3.5 quarters?
We’re talking about a patchwork Chargers O Line that managed to get the apparent Steelers romp into a one score game correct?

That stat doesn't tell the whole story. Some of those yards were garbage prevent defense yardage. They still harassed him and picked him off multiple times. I would have liked to see the D give up one less TD but their arrow does seem to be pointing up.
