A perfect example of such a read was Hodges' first pass against the Bengals. He motions*Jaylen Samuels*out of the backfield to match him up with linebacker*Germaine Pratt. Pratt has to maintain inside leverage, which means with Samuels' out, Hodges just has to make sure the outside cornerback is backed off Samuels.*

Duck likes to throw the ball down the field and has some escape /running ability. I think he sees the field well for a rookie. He looks pretty accurate on crossing routes too.

A better in between the numbers passer than outside the numbers passer if you ask me.

So it’s up to the OC to identify what he does well and call the game accordingly.

There is limited film on him right now. A plus for us.
