I attended the Chuck Noll Commemoration at Heinz History Center today. Bob Pompeani hosted with Mean Joe, Tunch Ilkin, Rocky Blier and Michael MacCambridge (author) as speakers. I rode up the elevator with Dan Rooney. Mel Blount showed up as well. Really cool.

MacCambridge said Bradshaw was the only person he tried to interview for the book who refused, despite several people, including Dan Rooney, trying to convince him.

HEADS UP: They showed a promo for a Chuck Noll documentary coming out November 24th that looked really good. 9:00 PM (I think they said it would be on WQED).

very cool...you're fortunate to be in the vicinity

THANKS for the heads up Troglodyte !!! REAL kewl deal but not feeling it for Bradshaw currently. He needs to bury what ever hatchet needs burying. I'm sure Bradshaw has his reasons but eventually you need to let them go. NOT good holding grudges as that Leeds to many issues.

Salute the nation

I ran into Coach Noll and his wife many years ago in a little novelty shop on the beach down here in Florida. I looked up while browsing and recognized him right off the bat. I smiled and he just nodded. I couldn't even speak and I didn't want to bother him.But it was a cool moment.Greatest coach ever ! He turned this team around and set the standard for greatness.

Bradshaw had played on any other team or if joe Gilliam hadn't loved getting high no one outside his mother would give a flying **** about terry funking bradshaw
