How big was that miss? Betchya we could've used those 3 points at the end.

We're wasting whatever Ben has left. This team....specifically the defense...sucks.

Anyone that has paid any attention knew we should have just let them score with a minute left. The only chance we had to win. **** Tomlin

This schmuck needs to find something else to do with his life.

Boswell is damaged goods. If he is still a Steeler at this time tomorrow night, someone's head should roll.

Missed FG, an extra point that rebounded off the goal posts, and a bad slip. This was not a good day for Boswell.

Amen. Every unemployed kicker should be at the practice facility this week. I wouldn't be upset if he took Butler with him too.

Boswell damn well better not be on the team come tomorrow afternoon. Two missed FG's and almost missed another extra point. And, YES, the kick at the end of the game is 100% on him. He should have had the right cleats on since everyone knew the field was a bit iffy. 2 games in a row he played a MAJOR part in the loss.

Well one of us said this more than 8 weeks ago. He didn't even want to be out there. Take three practice approaches. If you don't like the footing ask for a TO. I really don't tink he wanted to kick it. And I said that weeks ago.

Boswell costing us the game is also on Tomlin. He's been terrible all season and has cost us games. How many ******* chances does he get??? Tomlin's fault as usual.

How is Boswell missing FG’s Tomlin’s fault?

Boswell was money last year. You’re certainly not suggesting we should have cut him the first time he missed a FG? You do realize there is a big cap hit to release him right? Basically, we’re in the same position the Jaguars are in with Bortles.

Biz proved himself since he’s been here,,and has now gone in the tank. What would you do (or have done) different?

Boswell is Tomlin's fault because he shouldn't be in there. He lost it. From the opening preseason game to now, he has lost his swing and there is no way it is coming back. There are literally 100 guys on the Street who could kick better than Boswell right now. He is done.

How many weeks does he need to miss FGs before he's cut? He should have been off the team weeks ago.

My theory is that it's less about his confidence and more about him getting complacent after getting paid like a lot of players do.

I know a girl that dated him and without going into too much detail, she basically said she stopped following the Steelers because he's a douchebag. Obviously there are a lot of good players that are dicks, but I would guess that, of the players that don't put in the work, more of them are ******** than not.

I also don;t think he makes the kick if he doesn't slip. He is done as a kicker at least in Pittsburgh.

Leave Boswell and Tomlin in Oakland.

Enough of this **** show

Cap restraints as much as anything are why he is still here. They hamsstrung themselves with the extension.

It is not complacency about the games. He lost his swing. Phill Mickelson is one of the greatest golfers who ever played and there were a couple years where every 4 foot putt was an adventure. It happens.I remember the very first preseason, this **** started then. If you wanted to keep him, he needed to injure his hamstring, go to IR and try again next year. But in the end the team was saving his guaranteed money every four games with Bell. He needed to be gone one way or the other.

Why are the Steelers in position to need a kick to tie the game against the Raiders?

Well because their defense sucks *** and they were playing an unqualified QB in the second half.

Because they missed their other FG that would have had them kicking a game winner on the last play...

Boz is a Steeler due to the $6M in dead money that comes with dropping him. No one saw this coming. He made the pro bowl last year, and this year he's absolutely terrible. We can drop him for a much friendlier $1.2M and save $3M against the cap next season, but that means having him on the roster for the next 3 games. I don't think he deserves a roster spot at this point, but a better roster move may be to add another kicker and deactivate Boz until he can be cut next year. That's a $5M roster move, though someone will have to lose their job for it.

He's acting like he's pissed about something. Maybe he thought his new contract should of been bigger? We all know that he can kick better than he has this year.

That cuts like a knife. In 2017 Boswell WON games for us. Now he's a reason why we lose them. The difference between one more win or loss is seeding in the playoffs, or not making them at all.

Winning it what matters most. An upgrade is needed.
