Both Fischer and Schwartz released. Welcome to the world of big money QB's Kansas city. Both ended the year injured, but a pretty big surprise apparently. will be well out of the Steelers price range but shows there will be players available.
This is true and I'm actually surprised we haven't heard more rumblings from the NFLPA and/or individual players about the recent cap announcement. This is only going to get worse, sure the mega free agents will get paid but this is going to be a large group playing a rough game of musical chairs. With the cap number being so much lower than anticipated, it's going to be a painful year for some of these vets who have made big money in recent years. They will have to reduce their expectations and take a one-year deal to weather the financial storm. Maybe we can find someone cheap(er).
Wow this makes no sense. Mahomes was running for his life in the superbowl and took a beating. I would take Fisher, but don't see any way we could squeeze him in. We would definitely lose Bud and JuJu.
neither of these guys played in the SB they were injuredWhen I watched the SB this year I noticed Mahomes was having a problem with protection. He didn't have a chance in the backfield. This doesn't surprise me at all.
Sign them both. Tombert can make it happen.
