Had the pleasure of sitting next to one Eddie Lacy yesterday from Chicago to GB. He's a real nice kid. He told me that he was going up to GB for a Verizon Promotion. It was funny when the flight attendant asked him what he had in his backpack that she was trying to jam in the overhead, he said he never leaves home without his Play Station. Man this cat is built thick. Has the body of a tree trunk.

I didn't bug him and just wished him the best of luck and health but I'd have to root against him when he played the Steelers since I was from Pittsburgh. He told me I sounded like his uncle who is also a Steeler fan.

Very nice young man and would not have been disappointed one bit had we drafted him. I'm glad we have Bell but I'll admit I was sort of pissed when we passed over Eddie but I guess it's worked out best for both the Pack and the Steelers.

Met Eddie at a bar in green bay after a game last year. My buddy asked if we could get a picture with him and he politely declined. Didn't want a picture of him in a bar getting out. We totally understood and we shook hands and told him nice game. Seemed like a nice dude.

Yeah he is a good kid and you have to remember these guys get bugged all the time so I imagine it gets old. I remember meeting JJ Watt a coupe years ago and he was a real nice young man as well. So what happens this goofy broad recognizes him and asks me to take a picture of them. I was like come on man! He was cool about it and granted her request but I really didn't want to do that to him. Now that is one big dude, JJ Watt.

Wow, very cool. 4 years ago, if you had asked any Bama fan who was going to be the best pro rb between Ingram, Richardson, and Lacy none would have said Lacy. Glad to see him do so well.

I think Eddie is a quality player and they love him here in GB. The guy is a very good runner and pretty damn good receiver as well. I would not have been disappointed had we drafted him.
