I'd make the most of a one on one meeting with him.
He's trying to walk it back too.
I'm hearing on a different board that he was wearing a bullet proof vest. The round might have hit the edge and ricocheted up. It did come out his skull.
I'm sure they're either back at it already or will be soon. TDS doesn't just go away without intense therapy.Same here, the silence from my liberal friends on FB is deafening.
They've stopped their daily diatribe of labeling and name calling.
What did you disagree with him, politically speaking?Been off this board for a while, and plan to keep it that way.
Absolutely gutted by the political violence stateside. The cold-blooded murder and assassination of Charlie Kirk is reprehensible. Violence is never the answer. My condolences to his wife Erika, his daughters, family and all those who knew and loved him. I agreed with very little that Charlie Kirk stood for politically, but it was crystal clear to me he was a patriot, and an extremely gifted, astute political activist who reached millions, and wanted the best for the country.
This is a sad day for America, and for the future of this nation. Left or right, Democratic, Republican, or Independent, we must find a way to coexist, and be able to debate openly, and if need be, to agree to disagree. Charlie Kirk represented exactly that, a willingness to speak freely, and thoughtfully, not only with like-minded folks, but with those who vehemently disagreed with, and opposed his views. The fact that he was silenced forever in this heinous murder is a huge blow to the hope that Americans can find some semblance of a middle ground. I hope that his spirit of open discourse and dialogue lives on, and becomes his legacy.

Democrats can't debate because they've taken the 100% WRONG side of every issue because they hate one man so badly that if he said he liked dogs, they'd get rid of their dog. Liberals can't defend their policies so they self-destruct and burn the flag, topple statues and shoot at people.Been off this board for a while, and plan to keep it that way.

it's not worth it.What did you disagree with him, politically speaking?

Allow me:What did you disagree with him, politically speaking?
Is that a thing? It did ricochet off of his vest.
That's a lot of kinetic energy from an old ww2 30.06 Swedish mauser .
Probably hit the carotid artery which is what I normally use to embalm people because, uh, the flow is very good.Charlie never had a chance.
That’s what I used and have. The day of the shooting, they interviewed someone in the crowd. His testimony was reasonable, he seemed reasonable. Then he said it absolutely sounded like a .22. I did a double take. Clearly he'd never shot weapons. A .22? It makes a small 'crack' sound. The audio clearly indicated a high power rifle.
My stepfather always hunted with a 30-06. I would badger him year after year, "why so much gun for a deer, you risk damaging so much meat?" He always said, "I don't want any chance of them running away.
Every deer he killed had an exit wound the size of a softball.
Charlie never had a chance.
No **** ******?
If it had absorbed the bullet he wouldn’t be dead.
I don’t know about 90 seconds, but he was definitely dead before he made it to the hospital. Probably before he made it to the ambulance. Losing that much blood that fast…….nobody is surviving that.Probably hit the carotid artery which is what I normally use to embalm people because, uh, the flow is very good.
The professionals who know more than I do in the FB groups for my profession estimate that he was dead within 90 seconds.
