Instead of having NO D1 football this week, imagine this spread across Thursday - Saturday:

Clemson vs. Notre Dame
Alabama vs. Ohio State
Michigan State vs. Stanford
Oklahoma vs. Iowa

How the NCAA doesn't think an 8 team playoff field would be a huge success, I have no idea.

While I like the 8 team playoff I thought the reason for no football right now was due to class finals

How many of the Power 5 conferences are still in school? I know both of my kids were done by Tues. Admittedly, they both go to MAC schools but since most schools are on semesters now, you'd figure they'd all finish up around the same time.

Been there done that man...My oldest daughter is a Bowling Green alum..

I have also "donated" to MAC universities...
