I know a lot is being laid at the feet of Roethlisberger today. And rightfully so to some extent. But I know you all watched the games that I did this season. I ask you to consider the amount of times the phrase. Career day. Or longest run or longest play from scrimmage came up. In the end this team was ****** because though they were able to mask some stink with some turnovers they were really just the ***** especially on the back end. That first TD who was Mitchell covering. Again. Zone is for losers.

I noticed a lot of mentions of long completion streaks by opposing QBs this season. The defense still desperately needs a safety, a corner and a pass rusher.

Pass rushing starts with the secondary. Tough to get pressure when it's a 3 step drop to a wide open receiver. Some of that is the huge cushions also, not just personnel.

Our pass rushers aren't very good. They could have the best coverage and there wouldn't be too many coverage sacks.

For me Mitchell goes for the hit too much over the INT.

Even so a SS and a CB is needed and one pass rusher...

Tuitt and Heyward are very good 3-4 DES and they literally get no rotation because they can't. Harrison is old and flashes once in a blue moon. Dupree was ok for a rookie but it says equally about Moates that he passed him. Jarvis Jones is a waste of football skin.

I agree with this 100%. He could have had a pick off of a tip ball today but he had it in his head he had to go for the kill shot while the WR is practically already on the ground. I thought for sure he was going to get flagged for that too.
