I can see the ACLU pushing for that and getting rid of police body cameras before too long because they’re getting unintended results.

Standard Liberal dogma is that there are too many minorities in jail so the solution is to not put minorities in jail. That’s why the Charlotte guy was running around loose.
Which begs the question, if a city is 75% black then are blacks really a minority?

I mean nothing against you, and the 51st state thing is so ridiculous that the joke seems obvious. But, the reality that a guy can't have security cameras to protect his property because it's racist? Very lame "leadership."

I never said this nation is perfect. Far from it.

So, if you took it personally, that is quite far beyond any intent. The intent to mock horrid stupidity is clear. That decision is horrid. Well beyond the pale.

If one reads the article or saw some footage, this dude has about 10 cameras pointing every which way around his door& porch that look to be on a busy corner. The racism stuff was in a later parts, one from the evil CBC that was just like MSNBC spew, and another that had to do with LA's skid row.

That said, it has been very hard to be proud of anything Canadian for many years. Other than a couple hockey teams who have regularly kicked American assss -- thanks Sid -- the social fabric is fraying, the terrible political leadership has at best robbed many, many Canadians of hope, and now the new guy is a foreigner banker, trained in the US, enriched and hated in the UK, with almost no remaining ties to Canada, who returned home (where does his wife and family live?) to takeover from Justin's sinking shipt.....and who has been largely absent from view since the spring. All major economic indicators are steepening their decline, worsening the comparisons with the US for each and every year for almost a generation, your neighbours in Alberta have have been kneecaps, Ontario has been overcrowded by folks from far away, the Quebecois continue to biitch at anything that doesn't pay them $$$$, and those fuuckers in the Maritimes just used the worry about forest fires to mandate their people to stay away from the woods, even fining them insane amounts when they correctly responded: "fuuck you, I won't do what you told me" and exercised their HUMAN RIGHTS to walk in the fuucking British "Crown Lands" that do not appear to be usable for the benefit of OUR people.

Thats all kinda retarded to me, because it takes one to know one.

I also have pointed out quite a few decisions by the US Government that are deeply retarded, and will again. It's anything but unique to Canada. But, the direction over the last so many years by the liberal in chief there are a disaster in the making for sure.

When you point out that a very specific set of crimes is overwhelmingly committed by a very specific group of people, the problem isn't with that group of people, rather I'm the one with the rayciss problem for pointing out statistics.

The 51st state thing is an idiotic, provocative comment that never should have been made. So, I mock it. But. I have joked with other Canadians about it, because we recognize the stupidity of it.

Just because you don't see any Canadian pride in me doesn't mean that there is none. You can't take your perception as the universal truth. That is simply too far of a reach.

The crazy thing to me is that you taking all personally. Not once did I lean it towards you. I pointed out a trend by the idiots in Ottawa to make the average citizen into racists by protecting their property - another idiotic stance by politicians who use foolish thoughts to villify and make their citizens unsafe. Just to be clear, I don't hold any bad feelings towards him, now or ever. I admire his pride in his homeland. I share it with the USA, and to enlarge degree with Canada.

I find the consternation odd. I hope it blows over and we continue to get along well as in the past, and as I feel towards him now.

I pulled that article from a forum I trust well. If it is false, which I can't imagine from them, so be it. I trusted them.

I have enough trouble following the politics, insane at times, in my own country. I envy those living outside our borders that feel they know more about my country then I do.
 
So I have nothing against Canada the country. But whomever named Canadien bacon be damned. It is ham not BACON!! I once wasted $5.99 in a diner cause I ordered what I thought was going to be BACON. It was ham.
