Sure, it worked in week 4 against the Bengals.

Against better defenses, however (like the Ravens and Bills), it results in little success and ultimately costly turnovers.

Wildcat is sometimes useful in situational football. Unfortunately Tomlin and Fuckner have no clue when to NOT deploy it. That wildcat call in red zone that resulted in a turnover was ******* stupid. Even for those two ******* morons.

The two coaching gaffes were third and 18 giving up 14 yards on third down and the Wildcat call. Total reach.

Tomlin's response to a question about the wildcat in the presser was quintacential Tomlin flim flam.

Yeah, you definitely have to pick your spots if you're going to run that formation. Using a RB that has been out for the last 4-5 weeks in that situation was beyond stupid. That was the one thing about last night that pissed me off the most.

Fichner called it, Tomlin approved it. We have seen this bonehead **** before. This is the reason I would like them replaced.

Yep. Throw in a bad snap you get what happened to us.

With any level of preparation by the defense the wildcat is just ****. In essence you are replacing the QB with an extra blocker............ BUT once you eliminate that the wildcat back will not throw. And its pretty ****** clear now that he won't, you can commit all your linebackers. So then you got a guy inexperienced with the QB end of the mesh and almost no experience at reading the end. I would much rather get Duck running an RPO. Most of the motion fake on the play has been window dressing till last night when it wasn't. And that didn't turn out too well.

That is Randy's only way to be creative with play calling.. it's literally worked one game vs the worst team in the league and Randy probably thought it was a genius move.

You'll have to ask Randy "Wildcat" Fichtner and HCMVLT.

That crap wildcat turnover came after the two minute warning, so that's on Head Coach of the year Tomlin, they had that 2 minute warning timeout to go over what they wanted to do coming off that timeout.

No doubt. Tomlin's coach of the year though.

Play might have worked better if the snap wasn't ****. I'm no advocate for more wildcat but the play seemed doomed at the snap. Pouncey is really struggling with his play this year

Coach Tomlin, Coach Fichtner, it's 1st and goal at the 10, you are ready to take the lead and get the ball to start the 2nd half. What's the call??

Have you seen our QBs? It's panic coaching instead of focusing on what they can do and limiting damage.

Fichner and Tomlin have Hodges shackled so tightly, he is afraid to breathe. Let him play like he knows how to play.

Give the kid(Hodges) a few audibles to change to.. Maybe.

The Wildcat is what you use when you don't have a QB and can't run the ball in normal formations. In other words, you need it when you have zero offense.

The Wildcat between Conner and Johnson was one of the worst situational football play calls you will ever see. Talk about putting those two in a terrible situation.

Yep, and i can't say it enough, it came out of a 2 min warning, they have a few minutes to come up with a play coming out of that break, and this is what they come up???
