Not buying all the lame TD celebrations. Lev and Juju's "Hide and Seek" deal was borderline, but at least it was original. I saw the Chief's do some sack race thing today, and then the Seahawks did some kind of group dance. Something tells me there has been some outside pressure to make them "family friendly."

Right now, I'm for going back to "no celebrations." smh

Gee, you sure sound like a load of laughs at parties

meh as long as it isn't excessive and within the rules... I could care less.

Sometimes one of them might even bring me a chuckle.

Don't really care what they do. I think some of them are funny. Football is a game of emotions. Making a big play surely brings out a ton of them. They're entertainers just as much as athletes. If they wanna do something then so be it. It's all in good fun.

The celebrations don't bother me. If you notice almost all of them this year incorporate several teammates as opposed to one guy showing off by himself. I'm liking the group choreographed stuff honestly. Reminds me of football when I was a kid in the 80's. They did that stuff all the time.

spontaneous celebration is awesome. planned celebration's are kinda stupid.

I agree. I'm not a prude. I don't mind a spiked football. I even thought Antonio's Romancing the Stone and forward flip into the end zone were cool.

I just thing the celebrations this year are too preplanned and rehearsed, which makes them look lame. I mean really!?!? Grown men playing hide and seek? They're "trying to hard," and it shows.

I think most of them are stupid. I like a spin, spike even a quick dance. But the choreographed stuff is ****** stupid. And someone explain why punching the goal post bag is a penalty but playing hide and seek around it is not. Like this **** would take rehersal. So these guys are actually practicing this. If Im on that team Id be like. Ahhhh OK.

I love them. I watch football to be entertained, and I am highly entertained by the celebrations. The Sack race, the bouncing off the field on those ball things you ride, that just happened in this Raiders game. Hide and seek, Kamehameha, Free throws, Hitting home run followed by getting hit by a pitch. It's just fun and enjoyable to me.

My favorites are the group celebrations. You know, where the linemen get involved in the fun. These guys beat their heads every ******* play and never get to celebrate. Now I see them playing Duck Duck Goose and Spotting and taking pics during a bench press. And they ******* love it!! I always hated the arbitrary, you can't celebrate. Or you can celebrate, but you can't do x, y, or z bullshit. Take the refs out of it. Let the players playing a game have fun. What harm could it do?

People may actually catch these celebrations on twitter or youtube and actually start watching football games because of it? It's great promotion for the league, and a great way to get young fans involved again.

I don't care. It's harmless. Not classy...but harmless.

they specifically outlawed dunking over the goalpost because it often messes up goal and they have to re-level it. I'm thinking Bell's punching fell under that same don't mess with the goalpost rule although if that's the case, I think the ref was stretching that rule a bit.

At the time they said the penalty was for using something other then the football as a prop. I dont know if the announcers were correct.

I'd agree that it's annoying watching players celebrate dramatically after a 1st down. But, the goal is obviously a TD so if you earn it celebrate away! Especially, when your as poor of a redzone team as the Steelers. You got to celebrate because you never can put your faith in the play calling or the execution.

I'm gonna tell you one thing about the hide and seek: my daughter loved it.

It was playful and childish. Poking fun at his youth.

As a child should like it, a adult should not get bent out of shape over it.

A brief moment in time, that we don't have to like. The players were having fun.

Fans complain about the no fun league then turn right around and whine about players celebrating.

Again let them have their fun if it is within the rules.

Plenty of stupid *** rules or bad ref decisions or bad Goodell decisions out there. Perhaps something more legitimate to ***** about, if you are in the bitching mood.

...and how old is she?

why does that matter?

Football is for any age who watches it, if that is where you are going with your question.

If they are going to do it (and they are) I prefer the group ones at least at that point its not just all about 1 guy...its a team game you want to celebrate with your teammates go for it ...u want to crow like a rooster look at me look at me..get lost you are not the only reason you scored a TD

I think it Would provide an idea of the maturity level of professional athletes. I'm guessing she is elementary school age.

I wonder what Jack Lambert would have done if someone celebrated with a sack race after a TD against the Steelers.
