And then we would be stuck with who starting?
I get he hasn't achieved the desired, but I am not sure at the moment there is an upgrade on the roster.
what about Vince soon to be looking for a position Williams?

You can be a great athlete and a not so good football player. Hopefully something translates to the field, but i think it's more an instinctual thing he does not have

And you thought Jarvis was slow getting to the QB? Put Vince at OLBer and sit back and wait...................and wait.
Still waiting? be patient he is almost there.
Just a little longer.
What time is it?
Vince had more sacks in the first part of the year that Shazier got hurt than Jarvis had in his career, i think.

Can Bud even hit the punching bag, or does he miss it wide?
Grenades and poison darts.............
Don't sell BOXING short as its a tougher sport than any of these you've mentioned. The conditioning of a true boxer is probably one of the best / hardest tests there is. I'm NOT knocking anything you have said but Boxing is one of the OLDESt forms of fighting / self defense ever. It pre-dates most / all martial arts and actually most martial arts are based of of boxing. Don't watch the "Rocky" movies and think that is boxing because it is NOT. Hand speed / strength / endurance are all a part of it so I see it as a great benefit for BUD. One thing though,.............. I'm all for what eve will help Dupree become the best he will be.
Salute the nation
But that was at ILBer. Take him and throw him outside with a longer path to the QB. The results would be vastly different.
I've been hoping for Bud to break out for I don't know how many years it is now, but I just don't see it happening either. Really hope I'm wrong.
i don't see it. would've happened by now.

I've always felt kungfu and aikido would translate better to hand fighting along the lines on both sides of the ball. I'd figure wrestling and judo could come in handy as well.
And coolie let's you stay, regardless.
Great, our 1st round OLB can throw a good punch...which is meaningless in football.
I'd rather read that he can bend his body as he rushes the passer, but he can't; just runs real fast past the QB, taking himself out of the play.
He's not better than a backup OLB, not good enough to be a starter, but they keep him regardless.
Right here you show how little you grasp. Bud is good enough to be a starter, he is a starter on rising NFL defense. No backups have unseated him. He improved last year. He isn't a star, but he is a capable starter.
Exactly. These guys show how it's done.

That isn't how I aspire anything that just is the way it unfolds, not everyone can be a star. What is more important is the players being solid in their assignments, and working together as a team. What you think is pathetic doesn't matter as you don't matter. And that's all you aspire to for a first round pick? Pathetic.
From his ILB position. Vince is too little to play OLB. Trust me...Vince had more sacks in the first part of the year that Shazier got hurt than Jarvis had in his career, i think.
So you're saying EVERY 1st round pick turns into gold???And that's all you aspire to for a first round pick? Pathetic.
