Giants waived DL Louis Nix to make room for JPP.

I know the Steelers will never do it, but I'd love to pair Nix w Tuitt...bring the Notre Dame wrecking crew together.

Nix got injured early with the Texans after he got drafted, not sure what his status is currently.

He must be a total dick to have TWO franchises completely cut bait with him already

Really thought he would be a force coming out of college... I think his work ethic got in the way.

They got Big Dan a bunch of snaps last week and gave McLendon time at defensive end, where he looked pretty good. It's been years in the making, but it'd be great to see McCullers lock down the nose position and add McLendon to the defensive end rotation. That is another force that can rush the passer.

no thank you

Yep a guy with that kind of potential already being cut twice in just over a year is absolutely a red flag...

Danger, Will Robinson... Danger!!!!

He never looked all that great to me, I was relieved when we passed on him in the draft

Didn't Nix have knee and/or back problems coming out of ND? Pass

I'd rather give some more playing time to Walton instead of Cam Thomas. I think he's a young player with a lot of potential. Too many red flags with Nix.

Big Dan is definitely getting attention from the opposing team. On one run play, he was locked up on two men in the middle and they couldn't move him. He had the middle totally blocked up like he is supposed to do. The runner had to try and go around. Unfortunately, the runner did. We had no LB's covering the lanes.

Two and a half years-not so long for a mid round pick. I thought Nix was somewhat exposed in college when he ran into Alabama.
