Cam Sutton Removes Steelers from Bio on IG

Poor choice to trade a guy during the season when he isn't a malcontent or otherwise causing problems.

Sends a message to other players in the league that maybe you aint as loyal to your players as you'd like them to think you are.

Ya, but what are you going to do with JJ? replace a DT with him and hope he can do the same kind of damage inside has he's always done outside? You DON'T move Bud to the inside so you can swap in a guy who doesn't know the system just because he's really really good. That goes back to Dan Snyder days of just finding the most expensive players you can and plugging them in together and assuming that makes an undefeated team.

The city will also have to contribute to pay for his contract.. he's due 15mil this and 17mil next season.

Unless Texans are willing to eat that money and just give us him, people are dreaming if they think he's coming here.

But why trade for an ILB when Bush will be back next year and VW is slotted in on the other side? Are we trading one guy who may not be signable for another one next year? Also, I would much rather role with what we have at ILB than give up a guy who played extremely well last week in the secondary. Hilton is still banged up and you never know when a DB might get injured - I don't like rolling that dice. I know we have Layne as well, but what is behind him? There are teams out there right now with depleted DB's - who's to say we are not next on that list in the coming weeks (knocked on wood!). Trading away a quality depth player in the secondary just makes no sense!
 
I don't believe it personally, but there has been some chirping about ATL trading Deon Jones for a CB. I'd have to find out about his contract status.....to see if it would be worth it.

Nobody seems to know, which indicates, I think that it's just a social media snafu.
