He will have to take a H-U-G-E persona cut. Billicheat will "ground" him and his attitude. We will see if the fit will work but also realize that he isn't their # 1 and just an insurance policy. Winston would have been a better option.

Great move if he's healthy enough to play. Also, strategically announced right as their joke of a penalty from the NFL was released.

Zero chance they're going to not design an offense around Newton if he wins the starting job.
For the vet minimum too I hear. I've never liked Cam Newton but I have to say, these are the actions of a guy who wants to play football IMO. Not like that posturing poser Kaepernick.
They ran a precision timing offense because that's what Brady was good at. Belichick is a master at designing systems that fit his player's skill sets.

He's a mobile quarterback but Belicheat will force Cam to work within the system. Ask any former Patriots that dealt with this system.

Uncle BILL worries more about Grandpa ERNIE's health more than anything as that is the real advantage uncle bill has and has made his reputation on.
Beer bottles and shotguns are available to everyone in the "Bar Fight" but ONLY one gets access to uncle Ernie.
EDIT: Giving Billicheat credit for anything with out the mention of cheating is like awarding the Boston Marathon to the runner who cut miles off and caught a ride part of the way.

It's not about Cam...it's about the Rainman upstairs with his headset and binoculars.
And what type of offense will they design for a broken down inaccurate QB that is shot ? His best asset was his legs and they are done. He does not have the huge WRs and great receiving TE that the Panthers used to overcome his poor throwing mechanics and inaccuracy. Belicheck may be great but he has only been great with Brady not a POS like Newton .

Cheats OL got away with enough holding to keep Brady playing into his 40's and barely getting a scratch. As long as Cam doesn't try to out do Lamar Jackson he should stay upright.

I believe part of the penalty of SpyGate was that if Bellicheat ever got caught again he would be banned for life. I could be wrong though. Sean Payton got suspended a season for not knowing about bounty Gate. Goodell stated that not knowing wasn't good enough. What about Bill then Rog?
