This has been going on Tomlin's entire career. Rex Ryan was a missed field goal away from beating us in the AFCCG with Mark Sanchez. He took the Jets to 2 straight championship games with Mark Sanchez! Tomlin couldn't sniff one with a HOF QB and the Killer Bees.

This is why I don’t think he’s a “great” coach. Cowher won division titles and playoff games with O’Donnell, Tomczak, Stewart, and Maddox. Noll won road playoff games with Brister and Malone.
