Makes sense now that yinz think about itAfter watching last nights game the thought occurred to me that perhaps Cam Heyward is making a rukus to secure his younger brother a spot on the team.

Or the owners can say **** you,we will just hire all new players who agree to our terms. Take your union and stick it. Everyone is replaceable and you can damn sure bet thousands of men would be willing to take their place in a heartbeat.
To be honest I'd love to see this entire cash cow get knocked down a few pegs overall. All of these billion dollar stadiums taxpayers foot a large portion of the bill for, insane ticket prices, seat licenses and then get raped over asinine concession prices.
All over a game that means nothing when it really comes down to it. It's a dopamine hit for a few hours.
Player’s association needs to get the “quiet” word out to the players to start planing (set money aside for 1/2 season lock-out).
Player’s association and the3 players themselves would be smart for the early warning.
Believe it or not, the Guaranteed Contracts would also serve towards the “FAN’S” well being. More stable team players & long term contracts means our loved ones will be on the team without the turmoil of contract flutter.
Side Note: The guaranteed contracts will be shorter than today’s contracts but also much easier to negotiate.

Why would you want Pickett?? Or were you just joking with that suggestion?Or .....Send him to the Browns for Pickett and a 7th.![]()
One of the BIGGEST reasons for my wanting the GREED MACHINE to fail is that they benefit from taxpayer money, way too much. Make some innocent / non-participant / could care less about the product / tax payer PAY to fund their profits.
They also have other entities not provided to the average business man.
Senator Spector was on the verge of exposing some of these flaws, but died while in the process.
Kansas City is a potential next candidate for the “high-jacked” of tax payer funds.

He wants to compare to the Batman? Get the **** out of here mr money grabOn Friday night, Heyward took to Instagram with a cryptic post regarding his situation. The seven-time Pro Bowler posted a story with the quote "You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain."
Hmmmm. He sees himself a the villain.....being held hostage...perhaps.
Just fun'n around.....unless they offered Pickett and say a 6th. Then I would jump on the deal. Why would you want Pickett?? Or were you just joking with that suggestion?
I thought that rumor was shut down and they just want to renovate the stadium. Its Rumored the Rooneys want a new stadium soon... thats why they are bringing the draft here...
Let me say I will campaign against any taxpayer money for that at all... and if tgey threaten to leave, I will help pack their bags
Id miss them, but not enough that they should get a billion dollars or more in tax money.
The NFL grossly inflates its value to an area. No city has ever collapsed over losing a sports team... they dont matter that much

Polamalu didnt leave a villain, neither did Ward, Ben or Bettis

I think the Packers stadium was opened in the 50sStadiums last longer these days. Getting a new stadium every 25 to 30 years is crazy. Make some renovations and use the stadium for 40 to 50 years, unless they have a study that shows the new stadium will pay for itself in 5 years. Then, maybe go for the new stadium with your own money or part your money and a loan for the rest from the state, due in full in 5 years.
Why Pickett though? They've been there done that with him. He's just not that good or no better then a career backup to me. There's no one in their QB room i would presently consider for a trade other then Sanders, but they likely wouldn't offer him after his performance Saturday. Worst case in your hypothetical I would take Deshaun and have them pay his salary still and take a 7th or work my way up the rounds based upon the portion of his salary the Steelers have to pay, but the Steelers would not pay any portion of his salary above what Cam was going to make. So if the Steelers would be stuck paying 15 mil then you ask for 5th or 6th.Just fun'n around.....unless they offered Pickett and say a 6th. Then I would jump on the deal.
