Bye week Sunday NFL games thread

After watching today I think the Steelers are same fools gold as last year. I remember really believing when the beat the Ravens and Commanders back to back. But it's same this year. They dont look like they are playing the same game as real contenders.

Just need the Bills to beat the ****-ing **** out of the cheatriots, and we’ll have the feather in our cap !!!!

I can’t stand the cheatriots to this day even though the players / coaches have changed. I just have that I’ll towards them that may never leave. I have to good of a memory, but hold NO regards to injury or they deserve _________ fill in blank, I just can’t put to rest the bullshit that went on.

If any solace helps. Hoodie is not doing too well at chapel hill.

His 24 year old broad will probably have him od on blue chew or something and take his $$$. The mastermind behind the cheating has taken a far fall from his nfl mystique

I am not sure that man is sweating it. He is getting paid, cheated his way to earlier success and has a young woman to wake up to.

Now eventually that young chickadee will bring stress but for now he is probably high on the hog.

Coolie is trying to slap himself on the back instead of below the waist………………

Although I do enjoy his UH break-downs.

Have the Steelers played one game at full strength this season?

I wonder if the feelings change after seeing the whole team on the field,on both sides of the ball; yes, everyone has injuries but I'm curious to see what the product looks like under those circumstances...

This is a weird take considering there are no undefeated teams left now. The NFC seems to have stronger teams, but the AFC is a crap shoot. Buffalo / Indy are probably the best teams right now and then there is a jumble of mediocre teams. I'm not convinced by the Steelers either, but almost every team has major flaws right now.

You and I both brother. I always want to see the team at full strength, but realize that may not be a possibility at times.

Been a good weekend. Sean piggy,Diddy, diddler Combs sentenced to 40 months in federal prison.
Browns,Ravens,Bengals lost with the Ravens getting stomped.
Blue Jays absolutely Smoke the Yankees two games in a row after nobody gives them a chance.
Agree Steelman the stars sure aligned this weekend ...you forgot BAMA .....rolling again

I turn 60 today ...... so a Natty, World Series and Superbowl victory in this momentus year would be awesome .......lol

My brother-in-law John and I are born on the same day ( he's a huge Montreal Canadiens fan)

My brother Gerry sent us both a photo stating that he picked up a couple of party hats for us to celebrate ....
one was a Steelers hat and the other a HABS hat with a caption reading.............. that the teams both have the same odds of winning the Stanley Cup ...... jab (a la Mark Sanchez)

Gerry is a Pens fan

Im convinced because though the coach doesnt believe in style points you can clearly see teams that can compete against good teams without needing 5 turnovers. It's exactly like last year. Lipstick on the pig. Talk to me when they even look good not win against a team like Buffalo.

Buffalo is a proven winner and more than likely the team to beat. Indy has looked very good but might be a little fools gold. Jax has been sneaky good and we should get a good idea of where they are at tonight against KC. Currently Buffalo and maybe Indy are the only teams I don't think we have a legit shot against. Bengals are a threat with Burrow but w/o they are bad. Ravens have multiple issues. Lamar is hurt and hasn't looked himself, Henry hasn't looked good, and the Balt D is historically bad at this point. The Pats are gritty, Denver is solid, KC is OK but getting healthier. Just not many scary teams out there.

You seriously do not think the Steelers could beat the Colts?

The Bills and the Chiefs are the only teams in the AFC I personally would have little expectations for the Steelers against.

The Patriots might end being really good this season. They just beat the Bills in Buffalo, and the Steelers needed five turnovers to barely beat them.

They definitely did not have to wait long in QB purgatory post-Brady, as Drake Maye is going to be a great one, it seems.

The team around him might not be quite ready yet, but Vrabel and McDaniels is an interesting coaching combination that might be able to cover some deficiencies in personnel.
