Will pay 1/2 down. I think both guys helped their cause $$$ with the season they had. I think Sutton will be the more affordable plus the more desired due to the multiple positions he can play. Our coaching staff recognize that and make the play targeted towards him.

I have feeling they'll sign Sutton and let Hilton walk. They should cut Joe Haden and sign both players.

Assuming Ben stays, I think they give Haskins every chance imaginable. I think they need to add a more talented QB to the room leaving Haskins off the final roster. If they sign some scrub, they're trying to force him on.

His play has declined. He's owed too much money. He's already thinking retirement. It's time.

Not at an all-time low, but I am not impressed with the direction of the team moving forward. The expectations used to include winning championships. Now they're satisfied losing in the first round of the playoffs to lower seeds at home.

They'll bring in some veteran stopgaps at key positions until a rookie is ready to step in. They'll be cheap and not count against the comp formula. Also, I would not be surprised if the Steelers move a future third to move up in the draft with a slew of comp picks coming in 2022.

Center - Pouncey is done. They have nothing behind him.
Tackle - Villanueva leaves in free agency, but they could potentially start Okorafor and Banner. That's a bad option, but an option.
Cornerback - this really depends on what happens with their top four. If they cut a veteran and lose either Sutton/Hilton, absolutely.
EDGE - The Steelers need three competent pass rushers. Right now they have one and a half.
Running Back - It's a need, but not in the first round.
Quarterback - It's a hard QB class to judge, so I'm not sure where they'd take one.
Wide receiver - Speed guy. They've got a shifty guy, a big target, they need a guy who can flat out fly.

The run blocking was atrocious. Assuming they bring in some younger talent they have nowhere to go up but.

Both. They cant afford to lose either. Havent seen much of layne. IDK if its because sutton has done a great job. or Layne is just lacking.

It really is. I know we can win some games. But i have no faith in this coaching staff to take a team on the edge over the top and win it . My lack of confidence is squarely placed on this coaching,,, no,,, i have faith in butler. So its all on Tomlin.

Sell. I think one will get a nice little offer - probably Sutton due to h is versatility. If Steelers match, it may bump Hilton. So hard to make a decent guess given the cap numbers still being determined/deliberated.

Buy. While I want to see Dobbs return over Haskins, I don't see us being able to retain Dobbs given our other holes. Again, cap numbers still being deliberated.

Buy. While I can hardly speak for how MP feels, I get the impression that the leg surgeries and years in the trenches have just taken too much of a toll on him both physically and mentally. I watched the little clip after the playoff loss and it sure sounded like Ben knew he was planning on riding off into the sunset. However, given the way that game went I would not be shocked if the idea of one more run isn't tugging at his heart. Not sure we can afford him though. Again, cap.

Oh hell, I dunno. Guy has had some success in college and Dotson sticks out as a bright spot per reports. Problem with a question like this is that they need a youth infusion as well as some scheme changes. I know the OL has been deteriorating for several years, but RF certainly did not put them in a position to win with his stale play calling/scheme. Injuries hurt this year too so general health next year has to be considered. Problem is, if the line improves after changing coaches, adding youth, and changing scheme/play calls, who gets the credit. If it stays the same or worse, who gets the blame? Pull one arm of the spiderweb and the entire web shudders.
