Buy or sell. In the offseason the Steelers should offer Mike McCarthy an OC job.

do a meeting with ben first to make sure what ever happened with A rod will not be a issue with ben and emphasize with mike yout have a 55-45 ratio of 54-46 cant ge 60 pass and 40 run.

Fitcher is terrible aside from the wild cat with the speed of the WR would like them to use 1 of the RB or WR to come in a reverse and throw.

Ask A-A-Ron Rodgers what he thought of McCarthy.
I think you would get two different opinions. But the man did beat the Steelers in the biggest stage. Not that he isn't without flaws. They say after time players somewhat stop listening. Things just run their course. Some teams can reboot nicely some coaches can too. Not sure if Mike is one of them...time will tell.

Sell - we don't need a guy that only knows how to run his scheme regardless of the players he's got. We need someone that can take the talent that we have and create a multi-dimensional NFL offense using the strengths of those players.

That's pretty much the same problem we have now. Regardless, Fictner and Butler need to go. Below the line, if you will, and things of that nature.

The thing is the D isn't playing below the line. And we go back to who really is running the D? You won't see any DC changes this year. Not even sure about OC change either. That might hinge on Ben's return to health.

I am curious about the D. Seems like watt and dupree are rushing more instead of dropping into coverage. The question is whose call was it to do that

adding Mincah changed this defense. If somehow we retain both Bud and Hargrave, we are set for years. if that is the case it really doesn't matter who the OC is. don't turn the ball over and win a **** ton of games.

1) bring back Munch. maybe he is tired of family already
2) Mincah bolted MIA as a second year player. He has outperformed expectations since becoming a Steeler. How do we know that he won't demand new deal asap? Is he going to be satisfied with his rookie deal for three more years?

Steelers could always throw him a new contract backloaded like they love to do...

i would pay Fitzpatrick whatever he wants. he has had a Troy like impact on the D

A pick 6 because Kemoeatu was pushed back into Ben on a pass rush and a Mendenfumble to start the 4th quarter turned the tide of this game against us.

Otherwise we should have won that damn game. McCarthy hasn't done **** since.

Very true about the Super Bowl, but if he hasn't done **** since, what does that say about Tomlin?
Since that Super Bowl until McCarthy was fired.
McCarthy won 77 games, made the playoffs 6 of 8 seasons, won 5 playoff games, and made 2 conference title games.
Tomlin won 80 games, made the playoffs 5 of 8 seasons, won 3 playoff games, and made 1 conference title game.

Very similar results. yet one isn't worthy of coaching again and the other should be coach of the year.

lulz you can't make this **** up.

after this year release foster chickello ask ben villinueva for pay cuts and maybe ask cam as well. then you sign Dupree to similar deal that Smith signed with GB leaving Baltimore, extend watt long term then the following year consider releasing pounce or restructure he is not the same and with those savings you extend minkah or you tell him as well cutting Vance can be oiption if a low key good 2 way TE is there in the draft or FA

It doesn't factor in the times we lost Bell to injury during the playoff run, including that AFCCG. We were also without AB when he took the Burfict head shot. The Tebow game we could have won if they respected his arm, but that team was also decimated with injuries and wasn't winning v NE.

The game that hurts the most is that Jacksonville loss at home. We got ******* rolled and couldn't stop the run for ****.

I have long said Tomlin should be fired. That they are playing well this year minus all the super stars says he is a good coach and has adjusted with the personnel he has. I just want to know what the hell is going on when he had all the offensive fire power in the world and this team would go lay eggs.

You guys do realize we have had a ****** defense for 7-10 years??? ****** ******* consistent

I hear you, but we weren't winning in New England with Bell, the defense couldn't stop Brady.

I'm just pointing out that GB fired McCarthy who IMO has had more success since that Super Bowl than Tomlin.

Save that **** for the offseason! **** all mock drafts too!

We got a godammed game to win this week!

Get your heads outta your *****, men, this is why we lose to inferior teams, FOCUS!

Why aren't there 20 cardinals threads discussing this game?

******* ******* too bored with real football can turn in their jocks and get the **** off my team!

Go Duck!

You are one ******* crazy dude but I like it. Focus all you **** heads or you may turn into Coach.

The only super star he has lost is Ben. JuJu has only missed 2 games. Tuitt's never played a full season. This year has fallen perfectly for them. Easy schedule against some of the worst teams to ever be on an NFL field. Having 3 games against winless teams. Playing 7 games against new HCs and their new assistants. Playing against some 2nd and 3rd string QBs or rookies. Play other teams that are just as banged up as them ETC...

But I'm with you on this... What's going to happen when Ben comes back. That's what I want to see.

Quick: Name one time Tomlin made a Coordinator change NOT influenced by Rooney.

Ain’t happening

Appreciate your sentiment and you’re not wrong....

But we all know that reality that this team is not a true contender for the only prize that matters.

Most realistic/optimistic scenario is a playoff win.

The 2020 season—with Ben back; and the unexpected benefit of getting Minkah Fitzpatrick as a result of Miami betting the Steelers giving them a better pick and what he did for the D...

What most of us want to see is continuous improvement of Snell, James Washington, Devin Bush, etc.
