If he looks like **** they can cut him before start of next season and the 5th year option can be eliminated (if he didn't suffer a football injury, like what happened to shazier), thus keeping the 9M off the cap.
If he goes bananas and kills it then the Steelers will keep him with the 5th year option for 2019
