Bush's first visit to Pitt

Bush Loves Film he’s gonna be a General for the Steelers. He Held together a lot of players as a Wolverine. Hard to do Next to Toledo Trouble. All Yous gonna love some bad as cat from the Rockets! They have quietly put a good few into the NFL.

I like the first round visit the city puff piece. Especially since I've been there a couple of times and have seen all these spots. He is wearing 55 and believe he wore 10 in college which has been largely a **** number in Pitt. I remember I changed my Kordell to a Holmes after the SB and he was fine within months.
Though I gotta say I personally prefer the Rothlisburger at Peppis to Primantis. Not a huge fan of the oil and vinegar slaw on the sandwich. Wayne the Pittsburgh cab driver calls it the drunken man's sandwich.

I also really liked Bettis' place
Great atmosphere on game day and food was pretty damn good. I think I'm gonna go to the Monday Nighter vs. Cincinnati. Pitt plays Saturday, final home game for the Pirates, Steelers Saturday. My boys Senior year at QB, just gotta figure out their schedule. Should be a Fri night game worst and I would miss Pitt/ Deleware.

Rothlisburger at Peppis
Mmmmm the Roethlisburger!

Loved it when I visited. Tried to recreate at home. Not the same...

There is a YouTube video from Peppis. Superbowl food Roethliburger. It shows it being constructed. With the right ingredients I was able to make a decent imitation.

And they have the Big Wheeler don't sleep on that either. Some good **** ! We have door dash deliver us at home when we are in the mood.

The Big Wheeler
steak, sausage 'n grilled onions with melted provolone. More than a sub, its a blues legend 8.85

He can’t have Shazier’s number.

I think Shazier is still on the team, he was just designated PUP list. I'm not sure how that translates but I think his number would be safe......for now. God bless Ryan

AND

I think Bush will fit in real nice as a STEELERS player and man.

No contest.

Because of the distance I travel and LIMITED to how often I can get to PITTSBURGH, I SAVOR everything PITTSBURGH while I am there, including BOTH places. I inhale the entire city to satisfy my "PITTSBURGH" fix and hopefully take in enough to last me until, if ever, I can make it back. Those of you who live there never take it for granit but take it as a privilege for those of us who have to visit can never seem to get enough of the best CITY, BEST team, absolutely BEST fans ever (not limited to just Pittburghians).................. Blessings

I really gotta agree with this post. I've been to more esthetically pleasing cities, but none that I feel more at home at. I literally feel like a kid entering Disneyland for the first time as I come out the Fort Pitt tunnel.

I cant believe I've never been able to visit. Money, children, lost jobs, etc. It never ends. I'm pretty fed up about it though.

I truely hope things turn around for you and you get to go there and experience a couple days leading up to the game (totally electric) and a day after the game.....(strip district for souvenirs) ... Awesome

Thanks. It's not all bad. It might be time to give up on my husband. I dont take marriage lightly and I've got 27 years invested.
