Burrow possibly out "months"

Yes. The Stains and now with Burrow out, the Bungles, are not better than us.
We will still get the usual *** raping if we make the playoffs.
 
JJ McCarthy out 2 to 4 weeks with high ankle sprain (that could be a bad thing for us). If the football gods keep taking out the Steelers’ opposing qbs, we just might get that Tomlinship.

Burrow is the one who lobbied for both of his WR to get huge contracts, along with them, the three literally eat 33% of this year’s cap. 3 guys out of 47.

Add in Hendrickson, it jumps to 42%.

Piss-poor team building, and if you watch the play he got hurt on, he should have just gone down or thrown it away. He wants to play like Josh Allen but he’s built like Woody Allen.

Everyone believes Burrow is a great QB and it’s hard to argue with his stats. BUT in college he had both Chase and Jefferson at WR. Now he has Chase and Higgins. Is it possible he’s a good QB being elevated by elite WRs?

So far, Jake Browning has performed well. In 2023 he played 9 games for Burrow and completed 70%. What if he puts up similar numbers to Burrow?
 
Full disclosure, Im a Bengals fan here. Appreciate the sentiment overall, some reasonable reactions from you all.
Sucks that most likely Burrow will be done for the whole year. Yes our offensive line is trash. But also he likes to hold the ball and make plays, cause he is not a coward or complainer. Just not as durable as a Josh Allen or Roethlisberger type.
I do think maybe we have a shot as a wild card. Just have to go 8-7 rest of the way. Pretty tough schedule. Not that we would do anything if we did get in.
It's looking like the Watt extension was a bad idea, as well as DK. Bengals do still have some good pieces. Elite wr's, chase brown, some tight ends. Our defense not so crappy this year. Hendrickson with 2 or 3 sacks already and looking in his prime. We have good lb's with Wilson, Burks, and rookie Knight. Jordan Battle with a couple picks this year, Turner 1, Dax Hill with one and looking great finally.
Taylor-Britt been awful, geno stone not so great either. I'm sure you guys will play us tough like always.
Good luck this year, but looking like Pittsburgh needs a rebuild. Things could always change as they do week to week in the NFL.

Why would your older fans want to end up helped out of the stadium like Burrow? LOL...Call in the National Guard!


I guess it could be worse...what goes on at the Browns stadium????
 
Yeah after Burrow got hurt I was hoping we would rescue Shadeur Sanders from them to back up Browning or have him as an option.

I mean backup qbs are the bane of our existence until the playoffs... then every qb is gonna tear us up

****. We have played two pathetic offenses and couldn't shut them down. This next stretch looks a lot different now than it did going into the season. They spent all that money on the defense. They stink. They paid TJ, he's MIA. The OL is pathetic with an old *** immobile QB. If this team finishes .500 I'll be shocked.

The goal is no longer winning Super Bowls, rather it's getting to 9 wins or at least 8-8-1.
We have a chance now to go 1-1-15.
Never a losing season, greatest coach everrrrrr...........
 
Agree with you Ron. Watched both games. Steeler defense seems lost. Everyone flying around but missing tackles. Center of D line is soft. Run plays are killing us.

On offense, the O line is porous. Broderick Jones is lost. Rodgers can’t keep running for his life without getting injured.

Unless this “team” gets its head screwed on correctly Sunday, NE could have a field day. UGH!
