So you are saying Bud Dupree isn't a very good linebacker and that the LBs coach is A-ok.........................Don't you think it's a little of both? Has our OLB corps excelled under Joey's tenure? Joey hasn't done **** and sometimes players don't make good coaches. If it wasn't for JOEY's & Tomlin's kids playing sports together which makes CMVLT & Joey off field friends..........JOEY would be fired by any other head coach.

Dupree runs himself right out of 75 percent of the plays. One sack does not make him an average to good player. He's below average.

Never have I seen him try to dip inside or use a swim move or any ******’ thing... the ball is snapped and he shoots straight up the field running himself out of the play... all the tackle has to do is take one lateral step and he’s able to steer Dupree right up the field. Next play... same ******* thing....

Shazier and Polamalu were clear cut first round draft picks and elite athletes in their draft classes. No one had Edmunds pegged in the first round. I think he has the chance to be a solid player, but not the same type of playmaker that the other two were.

agreed yet it took Polamalu a year to start. Shazier started but wasn't real good till his second year. Edmunds should not be starting yet,he is holding his own.

Heyward is a very good player and Dupree is doing fine-remember he is playing with a torn pectoral and he is still having (IMO) his best year. Give Edmunds a chance and Artie Burns unfortunately is in a very bad place.

Even at 100 percent Dupree is total garbage. A time he does something other than rush up field pass the QB, will be his first time.

Just because you were a great player doesn’t mean you can be a good coach. The thing about great players is ............ they are great players. You can’t always teach things to others that come naturally to you, sometimes you can’t even explain it. Take Rod Woodson for example, if great players made good coaches, he would be a NFL Head Coach right now. Things just click for great players, they are like the smart kids in math class, they just know the answer and are able to skip over the intermediary steps, THAT is what makes them great. Some of the best coaches are the ones who did not excell as a player, they had to learn more to even try to keep up.
