I am surprised they didn't reduce it (though I think he deserved more). I hope the NFL schedules the Steelers and Bengals during his suspension...

Three game suspension..... My prediction:
We play them in Pittsburgh opening Sunday or Monday night
We play in Cincy Thanksgiving night.
 
Cincinatti isn't going to win AFC North. They will be lucky to win 9-10 games. Birthdefect under watchful eyes and ginger regressing to normal as his haircut is out of fasion. I hope his first game back is STEELERS country !!!!!!!!!!

The bullseye is on Burfdefect now. He can't hide from being a dirty player anymore. Each infraction will now be over scrutinized, and I don't think this will be his last suspension.
 
We will play them week 4. All the dirty hits on ben brown and bell will be ruled legal by the league...
 
it would be a shame if a lineman fell on Burdect and broke his leg.
 
What happens if the bungles don't pick up his fellow co con artist,.....pacman??? Does bithdefect slack off a little as he won't be egged on as much????? Does pacman get resigned and they continue their evil ways..................stay tuned as the nfl will play out..!!!!!

Should have been 4 games...and at least one of them should be a postseason game. if they don't make the postseason, he's going to have to serve it the next year...MAKE IT HURT

I hope you're right, but I think the Rog will continue to tolerate him because he brings publicity to the league. Bad publicity for sure, but publicity nonetheless. And sometimes just having folks talk about your product is good. I think he would have received more serious consequences by now if the NFL took the issue seriously.
 
As long as he's a Bengal, the target will be on Ben, Bell and Brown.
 
The Bungal's fan base will be all over this. To bad they completely lose focus that this guy and Pac man helped lose a game they had won. They will bring up any thing and everything to make themselves feel better, not going to happen.
 
A few of them (admittedly a significant minority) are rational enough to admit that Jones and Burfict completely lost a game the team had won. It's true, Burfict's play had put them in a position to ice the game, but he was incapable of reining himself in and the chihuahua? Well have you ever SEEN a chihuahua when somebody comes knocking at the door? They just can't be expected to hold their **** together under ANY circumstances.
 
Should have been a longer suspension. At least we know now that if he adds another dirty hit to his game tape he will be suspended pretty heavily.

Far too many, the Maxx Williams hit alone should have had him suspended for 8 games, then add Brown's and he should be missing 16 games right now, 3 games is it, the Bengals will take that trade off every day, Williams, Brown, Bell and an attempt to send Ben to the sideline with the dive at his knees, the Bengals aren't sad right now.

look around the league and tell me the league really cares about player safety... how many intent to injure chances does a guy get? lets watch burfict and find out...

No kidding. The only question I have is, "Who hates him more - the Ravens or the Steelers?" I say this based on the idiot's hit on Maxx Williams during the last game of the season:

He took out Bell, Antonio, and Ben...

I would think overall Steelersnation would dislike Burth-defect enough for both teams.........

I'm gonna get flamed for this I'm sure but I seriously have to ask. Was the Williams hit H to H? I can't see it well enough. What was the call? The reason I ask is it's well within the 5 yds where contact is allowed and there should be no "defenseless receiver" issue right? Was the call for a blind side block or cut back block?
I am NOT defending burfdefect.....I loathe that ******* animal. But I also loathe the pussification of the nfl. Other than a lot of brain cells, what am I missing there?

Yes.

It was head-to-head, on a receiver 20 yards from where the play is happening. Burfdefect is doing nothing other than targeting a guy and trying to injure him - and he succeeded.
