Could see that coming a mile away, he got the rep for life, Headhunters are outlawed by the NFL
Yet, Chung is still playing games...Could see that coming a mile away, he got the rep for life, Headhunters are outlawed by the NFL

This hit on Bills' starting QB (revised to Twitter link as NFL cannot allow 10 seconds of ******* highlights to remain YouTube)? Pffft, no problem. Few yards negated by offsetting penalty, maybe a small fine, no ejection, no suspension. All good here.
Then later in the same game, Van Noy goes after the backup QB's head on a trick play where the backup QB did not have the ball, was not blocking, and was 10 yards from the play.
Again, pfffft, no big deal. A couple of yards. No ejection, no suspension, nothing. Big fat nothing.
Twice going after the opposing QB on an illegal hit? Coincidence. Pure happenstance. Not a dirty team, no, not at all.
If Burfdefect played for a certain team, he would not have missed a down.
******* NFL. Video no longer available. Trying to link Twitter video of hit.
you rarely if ever saw helmet to helmet hits in the 70s. You got forearm shivers and cheap late hits but the helmet as a weapon is a relatively new phenomena as the helmets have gotten better and stronger and the players dumber and dumber.
The league and the NFLPA need to get together to make it a lifetime suspension. That sends a message to a younger player (this is probably the end of his career anyhow) that it won't be tolerated. Its the players that are losing their dollars and brain cells. If the league and NFLPA can't get together they are a joke.
