Bungals go down!

I predicted this. I knew the Bungles would find a way to **** the bed. I'm perfectly ok with it too.

BTW- anyone hear how butthurt Dalton was after that Red Ryder BB Gun comment? JJ Watt hurted his widdle feewings.....

Yeah, and I'm trying to figure out why he was so upset by the comments. Watt didn't even insult him, just said their goal was to turn the Red Rifle into the Red Ryder BB gun, which they did. His first game of the season under 200 yards, with a pathetic 5.2 yards per attempt, under 60% completion, NO TD's and an INT. Someone needs to man up...I saw the headline "Watt mocks Dalton with Red Ryder BB gun" and was expecting an actual insult. Watt said at least three times the Bengals were a great team. Arizona should beat these guys pretty easily.

The only thing I can think of is if they didn't show Dalton what Watt said after that. But even what Watt said wasn't an insult. It was ******* funny. Guess Dalton's reaction proves that Gingers have no soul or sense of humor.

they have been having a lot of fun with dalton on the morning sports talk shows here in Houston...."whiny *****" was even used to describe him

Relax on this one. Nice to see them lose but they have the division all but locked up. We'd have to win out and hope for them to truly collapse to have any shot at the division. But, it would be nice to bounce them out of the playoffs in the first round.

These bungles aren't going to hand over the division. It would take a major slide for that to happen. It's possible, but not likely. SUPER happy in their demise and want them to fade totally. Look at our schedule and then realize how important that ravens loss is right now. Chiefs too.

They're like 99% probable to make the playoffs and 91% to win the division according to some metrics I was looking at. It would be an amazing slide for them to lose the division.

Like I said in previous threads....

Performances like that are why the Bengals could go 16-0 in the regular season and I still wouldn't take them seriously in the playoffs.

Last night the Bengals got back to playing Bungles football.

Good teams should NEVER lose to terrible teams. It's UNPOSSIBLE!! FIRE LEWIS!!!! DUMP DAULTON!!!! RRRAAAAAWWWWRRRRR!!!!

I can remember years ago when the Yets started 9-1 and missed the playoffs.

Bungles are unlikely to be that bad, but then again they were unlikely to be undefeated too.

Plus, they are still bungles.

Anything is possible. The Bengals play at Arizona next week so they will probably be 8-2 and still have to play us once. Our closing schedule looks a lot less daunting than it once did. It would be fun to watch the panic start to set in over in Cinci-tucky. They have had a charmed season to date...they've barely had to deal with injuries...

The Seattle game is big. If we were to win out, anyone know what the division tie breaker would be? A tie with the Bungles is a possibility. I think the division crown would be very difficult with another loss.

The Bungles must lose to the Steelers and another AFCN team for any chance at the division. Considering the Steelers have already lost 4 AFC games, it's going to be a tough road even if they win out.

A tie for the division lead is broken first by head-to-head (have to assume we beat the Bengals in Cincy which would make head-to-head a tie) and then to division record. Since we lost to the Ravens, I think we would need the Bengals to lose another division game so we both end up with 4-2 division records. Next is record in common games and then conference record.

Common games (excluding AFC North where we were both tied) would be AFC West and NFC West. If we win out, we would be 7-1 (swept NFC West, lost only to Chiefs in AFC West). They could go 6-2 by say losing to the Cardinals plus either the Rams, Broncos or 49ers. But they would still need to lose 2 division games (one to us of course). So they would need to lose 4 more games if I'm thinking about this correctly...at that rate, we could still afford a loss to the Colts (since it's a non common opponent) and tie with them at 11-5.

Two very winnable games that we blew against the Ravens and Bungles at home or we would have an 8-2 record and own first place on the virtue of our win over them. You just had to know those two games would haunt this football team.

ha ha - I just won $180 in my pick-em - after missing 9 of 20!

and I had Tyler Eifert - but still won by 70+ in my Moose league, beating a two-headedchick team and they both owe me a top shelf drink as a side bet

what a glorious night

Explain this two-headedchick team please. Does it mean :Naughty24: from both or does it mean you played against two chicks or something completely different?

Yeah in fact I made a thread saying that very thing immediately after the Ravens game.

Yeah, their early performance has all but cemented their post season status. But they can still stumble a bit given their tough games remaining are the Cards, Rams, Steelers and Broncos. Starting 8-0 and finishing at say, 12-4, maybe won't leave them with the greatest feeling even though 12-4 any other time would be a terrific record.

Also if they begin to struggle, and lose a few games in the second half of the season, they peaked early and will fade much quicker. It's been said time and time again, any team can win a Super Bowl if they get hot at the right time.

Yep. It's rare a team stays hot all year long. And I'd much rather be hot at the end than at the beginning (see: 2012 Texans)

Andy Dalton is obviously very sensitive and self conscience.. I can't believe his reaction to the Watt interview.
His team and even himself are trying to make him into something he's not, a leader. He's a solid QB but he doesn't have the "it" factor.
I'm not saying he won't ever have success because even Trent Dilfer was the QB of a SB winning team but I'd compare him to Jeff Garcia in terms of personality and skill set.

i actually saw Dalton's comments before I heard what Watt had said. I was thinking he must have called him some foul language or insulted his mother or something. No, he called him a Red Ryder BB gun. What a crybaby little ***** Dalton is.

I think Steelers fans should all show up to the game with Red Ryder BB guns.

Well, the division is lost as far as I'm concerned. We would have to win out which would be very difficult and the Bungles lose to Arizona which they should plus another loss against us that would be three losses. We'd still need help but guess its still possible but not very probable. The Texans are not very good too and the fact they beat them in their own park is amazing. I thought this team really had turned it around but they always seem to sabotage themselves. Guess that's why they are the BUNGLES.
