Bud

Dupree hasn't beat anyone? Now you are acting like a maroon.

You just call people names without ever providing any discussion or evidence. Empty tin rattles loudest.

And you have ****** taste in music. Middle-aged, small dick raging everywhere. Mute material all around. Goodbye.

We miss Bud but we can't afford to keep him and Highsmith is getting better.

Colts spent the entire second half holding him. So, he must be getting better.

Hey if you are an idiot you get identified as one. You are right your tin rattles a lot. My taste in music is all you come up with?[emoji28] You have a ****** take when discussing Steelers football which is more relevant being that is where you are in a Steelers forum.

If you think Bud wouldn't have dominated the newbie today vs. Highsmith you're just delirious...

I think Bud could have had a good game. Not to hate but I don't think he's ever "dominated" a game and he's played bad tackles in the past too.

I'd def take this year and last year's Bud over Highsmith still but Highsmith is light years ahead of Bud in his first 3 years.

Only thing matters is the Bud of now. Which is a fantastic complement to Watt.

This thread makes me laugh.....

The sooner the Tomlin - Roethlisberger era ends the better. Signing Bud Dupree will have nothing to do with that.

We have an organization that is attached to two of the worst QB talent evaluators in the league (Colbert and Tomlin) and now we are in the "find the next QB" phase of this organization. It is going to get really ugly around here before it gets better. Art Rooney is significantly less of an owner than Dan Rooney and that is a big problem. Maybe we get lucky. But right now "luck" is the only thing we got.

I am 51 years old and I think I have one more "good Steelers" run in my lifetime. And it's going to happen after Art Rooney is gone. After Colbert is gone. And after Tomlin is gone.

AR2 will NEVER behalf the Man that Dan was. AR2 is the typical 3rd generation person who is handed things, and 9 times out of 10 pisses it away.

Am I missing something here. Highsmith is doing well and generating pressure. Can we afford $25M a year for Bud? We can, but this would be your choice:

Sign Bud for $25M and let Watt walk in 2 years.

Don't sign Bud, and you get the ability to sign Watt and keep him for his career.

That is your choice. Do you want Bud or Watt. We can try and tag him again, because that is the only option you have to attempt to have Bud and Watt play together for one more year, but we all know how players on our team enjoy back to back tags...

Keep in mind that tagging Bud means JuJu walks.

Ju-Ju might walk anyway. Our roster will be picked apart. There are 9 teams projected to have 30 million or more in cap space in 2021. We can't win any bidding wars. We can franchise Bud again, I say pass.

One strategy is to let the all walk ( I would like to keep Hilton ) get our cap under control and pick up lots of comp picks in 2022 for the re-load. Ben is not going to be here for long.

Watt isn't going anywhere, that's a guarantee.
