Bud Torn ACL

You guys are right, the Harrison idea probably not a great solution. Just worried that TJ’s effectiveness now plummets. He’s a great player and will still get his, just concerned.

They are playing a full season I think the cap won't be as low as some perceive.

Just reported on the post game show with Stan Savran. Confirmed torn ACL.
 
This is a blow. I do like what I've seen out of 3rd round pick, but he has big shoes to fill.

DVE Post Game is reporting initial tests show that the ACL is torn. Probably a mobility test of the knee movement.....it's usually pretty easy to tell if it's a torn ACL.

Just asking please don't post something like that as a new thread until you have a link. We all knew what it likely was but it is just something we ask of everyone on something big like that and not posted as conjecture.

it was all over the internet. not really hard to find at all. had 2 alerts on my phone and it was all over the tv channels. probs dont need a link for something so easy to find

Trainers and team doc can all perform a Lachmann test in the dressing room. While it is not 100% accurate, it is a pretty good diagnostic tool, especially if no prior injury to that same knee.

MRI tonight or in the morning will confirm.
 
I have serious doubts about the team's ability to win a title without Bud. Next man up as always. But damn this loss HURTS.
 
Feel bad for Bud. If it's an ACL and he is a free agent after the season, that was one very expensive play.

He won't be ready for training camp or the start of the season so who signs him long-term before he shows what he has after rehab?

Possible he comes back on a one year next year? I can't see him getting a long-term deal for the money he wants before showing he is OK and that will limit his appeal on the market.

Tough night for Bud.

Go back in time 3 years and see what kind reaction that statement would elicit. Lol. All props to Bud he has worked his *** off to get here and it really sucks for him.

No doubt. But I think he would be back by the season start, or at least within the first 2-3 games.
 
****, I remember when we lost friggin Rod Woodson at the start of the season. You're worried about Bud,,,,whats his last name? Get a ******* grip. Most of you all were ready to send him packing a couple years ago. The organization has been through tougher spots than this.
