Another miss for Aguayo. This one he kicked into the line. Overall, Aguayo was 3-for-6 on kicks in 11-on-11 work today. #Bucs

He also has missed two FG and an extra point. I believe he was their third round draft pick?? Dri was better then him.

I checked out three Buccaneers message boards (buczone, pewterreport and tbaybucs.com. The threads on Aguayo are 17, 5 and 2 pages, respectively. Amateurs.

same dude that Tomlin chided at the combine.
Tomlin = Kiss of Death!

OK, here is a chance for us to say "GLAD we didn't draft that guy". END of story. Now if we go on to compair him to mr archer (notice all small letter), then the PAGES can begin !!!!!!!

He was a second round pick.

Actually, he was a second round pick! Ouch.

Kickers can have delicate psyches. It will be interesting to see if the Bucs stick with him and give him a game or two during the season.

Decades back there was a kicker from Syracuse with great ability, but he missed extra points in the pre-season, and the Buffalo Bills cut him.

His name? Gary Anderson.

I think Boswell was a true find. He has pro bowl ability.

The only high draft kicker i can remember panning out is Janikowski and he was special in college. He not only had the accuracy, but his leg strength was off the chart. The other thing he had going was his personality. He was half crazy. He didn't get stressed over kicks.

I never thought Aguayo was a great kicker. I know they point to his accuracy but i swear i saw every missed FG live. How could that be? His misses came in big games, high pressure. I never saw elite leg strength with him either.

so you saw all 4 misses from beyond 40 yards?

Saw his accuracy dip in 2015. Made just 5-of-9 field goals from 41 yards and beyond.

This is why I'd never draft a kicker. I'd probably never pay a huge contract to either. I think I'd bring like 5 into camp and tel them the last one standing stays and put the pressure on to see who can handle it and who can't.
