Bryant recently requested a trade

Martavis Bryant has requested to be traded.

Just saw it on NFL Network. Ian Rappaport is reporting this.
 
Ian Rapoport. Is this real news or is this like his "Ben Roethlisberger requests a trade" story?
 
If true, he is one ungrateful sumbitch. Send his *** to Cleveland..
 
Eff him. I would pull him in the office and tell him he's done speaking to the press. I would remind him that HE was suspended for a season due to HIS stupidity. I would tell him he has two choices. Take your *** out there to work and do your job, or get buried on the bench for the duration of your contract. Game, set, match. They don't owe him ****.
 
I have no problem trading him during the offseason. We have AB and drafted JuJu, you can always sign a veteran or draft another playmaker. There is no chance they're signing him to a long-term deal, so it's either let him play out his contract or try to get some value for him, but that opinion has nothing to do with this reported trade request.
 
Martavis is being an ***. Maybe he should try and get open more. When he gets the ball someone is always on his back. I hope the Steelers trade him and get someone who we can use and is good. I hate for the Steelers get nothing for him. If that is the case make him sit, but he is worth getting a good player back.
 
what will the Giants give us for him? With OBJ done for the year, I'm kick their tires to see what they would offer. I wouldn't just give him away, either.

I don't care, they're easy to make fun of, but the kid has talent and I'd prefer he showcase it somewhere it can't repeatedly bite us in the ***.
 
If they trade him it would be for a fourth round pick or something... totally not worth it... he still makes teams respect him but tgere aren't enough balls to keep everyone happy here

soooo, what happened here? Did someone ask a question in the locker room, post-game, and it allowed him the opportunity to make a comment about being traded? Or did Rapaport have this information and was sitting on it for "just the right time"? Whether it's true or not, Rapaport can choke on a dirty sock and die for all I care, that loser is the epitome of what I hate about today's sports journalism. if we trade bryant, we better get something GOOD back in return, otherwise his *** stays put.
 
I highly doubt Martavis is going anywhere. I have a feeling this being blown way out of proportion much like most other stories each week.

Six games in, he's not going anywhere. They will still use him as the season goes on. If this is true, he needs some patience. The season is long.
