Rapoport says Todd wasn't listening to Hue at all, just doing whatever he wanted.

....

I can understand firing Huey but not Haley. He had built a good relationship with his young QB that needed time to flourish but now this. Should have moved Haley to interim HC and still call the offensive plays.

I wonder if something happened behind the scenes that we are not aware of yet.

Probably just the gm putting "his" guys in.

I had the opportunity to sit next to the owner box yesterday, where I saw Mr Rooney in the box to my right and Charlie batch on my left. I’ve been to many games but this experience was truly awesome. But I digress. F Haley. On my way out of the suites I saw him, standing next to someone in the Rosie Nix contingent. I said “Hi Todd” he just looked at me and started to walk outside of the building. As he was crossing the street, very carelessly, he walked in front of a car which caused that car to stop short. Behind the car was a guy riding a rickshaw that was moving fairly quickly. The rickshaw caught the bumper of the car and ripped it off. It was hanging by a thread. (It was comical only because one one was hurt, and that was clear) but Haley just kept walking like nothing even happened. He caused the whole accident. He’s a menace to himself and anything else in Pittsburgh. Rickshaws, too.

A lot of numbers were pretty good in Pittsburgh. He should have waited for a good job to come up or taken a position coach on a good team. instead he became even more arrogant believing he could do something with the dumpster fire that is the Browns. Now he is a leper.

So he wouldn't do a qb sneak and ben didn't like him.

Tell me again why Todd was such a bad OC?

His red zone percentage sucked ***.

I thought he did some good things and some not so good things.

Probably his last chance at a coordinator level type of job. Why Tomlin kept him so long to me is a mystery.

Tomlin doesn't make those decisions, those are Rooney's. It is abundantly obvious. Tomlin had nothing to do with Haley being hire or fired, or LeBeau or Butler or Arians.

May not like the guy but the Browns won more games with him under this head coach than when he was not there. QB development is for a QB coach, lame excuse under the soap opera in Cleveland

So Mayfield will probably be on his third HC by the start of his second season. SMH. The Factory of Sadness is an understatement.

I'm not a Haley fan but I don't think he was the problem. They've actually won games this year lol Jackson on the other hand was out of his depth from the minute he took the job.

3rd and inches so he calls a wide pich-out sweep where the RB gets the ball 6 yards off the line of scrimmage but NO lead blocker. How many other plays you want tabled???? He had his ******** moments quite often PLUS he talked like a surfer dude who couldn't surf......NEXT Question.

Salute the nation

Gregg Williams must've played "sick" today to hide out. Last guy in is the next head coach?

My 16 year old son summed it up best. In typical Btownstain fashion they were on hard knocks so the world got to see what a colossal prick Todd Haley really is. Boooooom.

There are rickshaws in Pittsburgh? Do they get the homeless to pull them?

This is absolutely idiotic. First of all, Haley isn’t even that bad of an OC.

Steeler Nation mobile app

Reports I watched on PTI is that Haley and Hue would always go at it in regards to the offense and much in house division. Both were talking about each other and dividing the locker room. So they canned em both...

This is hilarious. Firing the coach and the OC is why Cleveland is as bad as they are. Ridiculous how they try to run an organization.

Just who do the Browns think they are? Pitt?

Well yeah, how many games did Hue with last year without Toddster and how many games did he win this year with him? And they tied one and lost two in overtime.
