Browns....short week.......... 1st of 3 super bowls...................shitsizzling

Still hoping....

Conner: "I'm making a lot of progress on it, and I think I'll be good to go," Conner said of his injury. "I can't make no guarantees, but as of right now, I'm feeling very good and things are feeling very confident for me playing on Thursday."

Craig Wolfley who does the sideline stuff for the radio broadcast said Conner could barely shake peoples hand Sunday at the Rams game.

I will say this for them, they are not wearing the Orange & Brown glasses as I expected. They see the Steelers are no pushovers and the D is a force right now. Should be a fun atmosphere and good game between two AFCN teams slugging it out.

All the Steeler wins this year are because of TOs. Nothing will be different this week. If they can get 4-5 TOs they'll win. If they don't it will be a struggle. Manziel... I mean Mayfield is a TO machine. He has 12 picks in just 9 games. They average almost 2 TOs a game. My guess is that this will be a low scoring game but the Steelers will win easily.

The more our guys don't fumble and also actually make the catch,........... The more easy it will be. Games can turn Aron a dime and I'd like that dime be in our pocket so hold onto the ball and finish off that catch!

Looks like Switz may be down...time to see what other options we have on ST. Since Diontae is stepping up in his WR role, looks like we have a new candidate on punt returns. Cam Sutton, step right up...

Cameron Sutton Preparing to Be in Punt Return Mix for Steelers
https://www.si.com/nfl/steelers/news/cameron-sutton-punt-returns-week-11/

With the injury to Ryan Switzer's back, the Steelers are using alternative options in the punt return game for Week 11. Diontae Johnson has returned 4 punts for 33 yards this season as the primary backup this season, but hasn't been the only player preparing for Switzer's absence.

Pittsburgh could also set cornerback Cameron Sutton deep, in Cleveland. The third-year corner confirmed he took return reps during the team's only practice of the week, alongside Johnson.

Sutton doesn't know how the return game will play out on Thursday night, but said the team is preparing for the absence of Switzer. Head coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that Switzer was one of the players who could miss Week 11 because of the short week of preparation.

"I guess it's kind of just a precautionary measure since we don't know the status of Switz right now," Sutton said. "Kind of just playing it by ear and seeing what happens."

Sutton is no stranger to the return game. During his time at Tennessee he averaged 14.3 yards per return, and led the nation in punt return yards in 2015, averaging 18 yards per return.

Throughout his time in Pittsburgh, Sutton hasn't seen a punt return. Utilized as more of a special teams ace, the third-round pick has adapted to playing a different role in the return game, but hasn't completely stopped catching punts.

"I catch pre-practice and stuff, so it's not really a new thing," Sutton said. "Obviously we have had guys that are returners, they more so get the reps while I'm on special teams, I'm on punt return and I'm a part of the front ten. So it's not really me getting reps then since I'm more involved in what's going on at the line of scrimmage."

Good. The guy is a playmaker. Made that crucial catch on the onsides kick and has been pretty instrumental with the secondary turnaround.

Just read that Conner and Foster were full participants at practice today. Good news.

I have zero confidence in Tomlin. Zero! He will do something or several stupid things because it’s who he is. They cannot win with him. They should be sky high for this game and prepared to face an arch rival but watch them come out flat.

I really liked Sutton's tape coming from college as I thought he could help with the return game, 3 years later it might be true

A gentleman with much more football knowledge than myself raved about Cameron Sutton (and where he was taken) because he watched him in college. Tombert actually hit on one it looks.

UNFORTUNATELY, tomlin's past performances have embedded that feeling very deeply in many of us. I want him to turn it around but it will take wins & time to change us. POSITIVE thinking he is going to have them prepared and ready, hopefully the game plan as well.

I would have kept Kitchens at OC and Gregg Williams at HC. They were respectable last year after Jackson was let go. If Williams started to **** the bed, like Kitchens is doing, they could have promoted him during or the end of the season. Browns would screw up a one-car funeral.

this is what i would have done as well. supposedly kitchens was some hot commodity and they didn't want to lose him. Appears here really hurt his stock now

they could have make Kitchens AHC. I don't know, I just think the staff they had after Jackson was turning the tide. We'll see how hot he is when he's canned. lol

OK, we play the clowns this week. Before any games were even played they were picked to not only win the AFC North but also most likely to make it to the super bowl as well. I said all along...... 1st team ever to play in 3 super bowls in one season. YES when they play our beloved STEELERS, that is their super bowl and they play us twice. Add in the thactual playing in the super bowl and there is your 3rd. HHHaaahaaaa the browns.

landry 9-97

I think our defense is better than any of these three, especially when you look at the last three weeks.

Our toughest enemy is playing not to lose. Our coaching staff is finally seeing that and acting upon it. I realize they are conservative at times but I see our coaching staff out coaching theirs. We need to get out of the gates really fast and shut that ****-hole crowd up.

Injuries are big but we will over come as there was a nice mix up of run / pass and personal. Lets continue down this road and make sure we have plenty of POPcorn available.

WHAT say you STEELER NATION ?

Amen (that's "I agree" in biblical talk)...

I wouldn't get too cocky, Steelers been playing a lot of finesse passing teams with weak Olines and statues at QB

Browns will come out and punch them straight up the gut.

Maybe better limit Bush and that lightweight nickle defense and use Vince more if they start gashing holes. They been moving the ball but get stuck in the red zone.

I think another nail biter, this is their SB.
We took the Ravens to OT...Lamar is NOT a statue...

Ravens are not a finesse passing team

Obviously I am talking about the Chargers, Colts and Rams...do i have to explain every little tiny detail?

100% right. Just like TOs down the stretch last season cost us 3 games and a spot in the playoffs. TOs are the biggest equalizer in football, and Steelers are playing on the right side of the ball right now.

I'd also agree that they'd need a lot of TOs to win, but they'd need a lot less if they stop turning the ball over on offense.

The defense giving up 3 fourth quarter leads had alot to do with that, 3 late 4th quarter leads, let the Raiders drive down the field in 2min and 30 seconds to score the go ahead TD with like 31 seconds left, let NO score the go ahead TD with 1:25 left, and let SD drive down the field and kick the game winner with 0 time left on the clock after allowing 26 points in the 2nd half.
