Brown OUT

Happy ******* Friday. :(

This blows!!! BUT, in all honesty, I'd rather have Ben in and AB out, than AB in and Ben out. Hopefully Ben plays well, protects the ball (and himself), and gets rid of the ball when he has no one open.

**** this.

Starting to feel more like the 89 Steelers going into Denver now. Gotta hope everyone else has the game of their lives.

On Nfl.com now.. Damn it. And with Ben already hurting and we're down to our 3rd & 4th string RBs it's not looking good for our offense this Sunday. Our defense is literally going to need to hold them to single digit points for us to have any chance at all. Boz is going to need to come up big again.

AB was knocked out, he was never playing this Sunday IMO. I have gone through this with a son that plays lacrosse. He wasn't knocked out, but he tumbled backward and hit the back of his head, he was disoriented, had headaches and bright light bothered him for 4-5 days. I'm certain that AB has the same symptoms still, when you are knocked out that is most severe concussion. When you are unconscious for minutes a normal person shouldn't return to vigorous activity for 6 months. I'm sure that Brown isn't going to adhere to that, but for you and me that is what a doctor would recommend.

Brown was never playing in this game, unless a neurologist wanted to open him/herself up to a lawsuit.

I thought for sure AB would have played.. I'm getting worried Ben might not play now.

I would have been shocked if AB was cleared and able to play. Still having symptoms on Wednesday means it's lingering.

Next man up.

Yeah, after what Sidney Crosby went through, any concussion like that immediately scares me to death. If by some miracle the Steelers make it past this week, there's no guarantee at all that Brown would be ready to play the championship game.

Well, this is a perfect way to end this **** season. W/all the injury, suspension turmoil, getting a playoff win vs the Bengals is the best we could've hoped for (in retrospect). Seriously, when you look at losing Pouncy, Bell suspension, Bell injury, Ben injuries, Shazier, injuries, needing 3 kickers to finish the season, Gradkowski injury, signing Vick, Vick injury, needing Landry friggen Jones for a few games, Williams injured for playoffs and now Brown out. Sometimes, it's just not in the cards. I am really trying to dock any expectations now and wouldn't be surprised if the next word is that Ben will sit. In a way I hope he does.
Pretty much sums it up. Its amazing we got this far considering. Also having the toughest schedule of all the teams, many didn't think we were going to win more than 3 games before the season even started looking at that schedule. Have to be proud of how the team played this year considering everything.

Our only hope is for Manning to play like the Manning we saw early in the year..

At this point, it might be best for Ben to sit as well. If he can't throw long, why risk him getting hurt or worse, suffering a career-ending injury by trying too hard to sling the long ball like happened to Bradshaw? Injuries are the great unknown when it comes to a season for any team.

As upset I am about Brown being sidelined, I am relieved he is not being rushed back to the field to protect his health. I feel the same way about Ben. If there's an opportunity for him to play at somewhere near 75% without aggravating his injury, fine. But if the likelihood it ruins his future, then there's no way I would play him either.

Here's hoping that the 'next man up' philosophy pays off.

The key to this game is who can run and and who can stop the run. Coates will get a hat. The defense has to continue the upward turn we have seen the last couple of weeks.

Wheaton or Bryant must step up. Either man is capable of having a monster game.

The only silver lining in the whole thing is who does Denver game plan on defense around now?

This news, combined with my investments currently getting ***** slapped, has made this one of the worst mornings ever.

**** that ****

You play everybody that can play - this is the playoffs

So that next year Ben has Peyton Manning Noodle arm? No thanks. If he can go he goes... but if he's in bad enough shape, I wouldn't play him at all.

Thin air...he could break records in Denver if given the chance.
