"Brown-out" Sunday had nothing to do with an injury

Wow, Ryan Clark was on with Scott Van Pelt tonight. Said that the Steelers "need to shop Antonio",that its time to move on and rebuild the team's culture

I see where he’s coming from but I’d hold off. AB needs to come up with a heartfelt apology quick and really mean it. That would maybe save his ***.

Yea good luck with that

I'm hoping there is a real top notch investigative report done on what's really been going on from AB to Ben to Tomlin and anything else. I know they didn't even make the playoffs but with the Stars on the team and their stories franchise it would be nice to see the truth about what the real problems are. Hopefully Tomlin is a big part of the problem and he goes and they can bring in a coach that lays down the law and puts some fire under their pants and tries to squeeze out one last Ben SB....after that it's going to be a bunch of young players who need to be reigned in from day one in a few years anyway. Our line is older now as well as our QB, and of course AB. Too much change is not good but not enough change isnt good either. I hate Tomlin but putting that aside I think it's just a healthy thing to do is to have some change and if you bring in the right coaching staff you can reign in AB. Let's make the obvious clear.....Tomlin isn't making this team better by staying at this point but AB is. That's the cold truth and even though Brown may be digressing emotionally he obviously has reached a point of no return with Tomlin. Brown is a 30 year old HOF receiver. They don't grow on trees. Give another coach a chance to straighten him up because obviously it ain't gonna be Mike.

Lastly and most importantly I have often said that all of us on here ***** and moan but do squat about it except come on here. Some say well I vote with my pocketbook but that does squat too....that's a silent voice replaced by another wallet. People organized are powerful. Seriously if we want to get Tomoin removed (if he is the problem) then we can make it happen. What can we do to be heard. Social media, letters. Protests, rallies.....seriously if we want him removed we can be loud.....the minority owners have been a voice for a while.....combine that with a hundred thousand fans and you might be surprised.

And I realize lots of you are funny ******* and full of sarcasm but come on it's time to organize and make a difference....who wants to start a Facebook page or start a petition or start a rally or whatever.....I personally want him gone.
I've been known to be a funny ******

Save his *** from what? He's going to get paid either way. If they trade him his contract goes with him. IF they cut him (which they won't) then some team will throw even more money at him. He sure as hell isn't afraid of Tomlin because he walked out of practice and wouldn't even return his phone call. He isn't worried about Rooney either as he wouldn't return his call. The guy doesn't care but he is still going to make his $$$$.

I'll tell you all you need to know about Browns little hissy fits. And I bet starts and ends with JuJu.....

This guy is so self absorbed no way can you tell me he is alright with JuJu cutting into his yards and TD stats.

I agree with him 100%. The team culture is currently wrecked and it's ******* everything else up. I don't care if they trade Brown. At this point I think they would be wise to jettison anyone who has the slightest penchant of being a diva and putting themselves ahead of the team goals. Ben may have diva characteristics at times but it can never be argued that he doesn't care about winning first and foremost ahead of individual accolades. We need more like him. Ju Ju seems to be that type of guy although he's still young. Brown was probably like that in year 2 also, before he got corrupted like Bell. These guys put up great stats but they are destroying the team's chances for success. Time for a culture change. Get rid of all the bad apples this off season.

You could tell it was almost personal for Clark. The guy does not like Brown at all.

He's probably far from the only teammate, past or present, who feels that way.

As much as it pains me to say it, I would shop Brown around. If I read things correctly, if he were traded, his contract and cap hit go with him. Combine that with Bell’s money, SERIOUS improvements can be made. A new coach would be the final piece of the puzzle.

They need to do something different, the Steelers are so methodical and slow in everything they do. They can't keep letting Brown poison the team, and you can't go into next year giving Dupree the starting job. Time to go after a real free agent.

You clowns are being led around by the nose with all this bullshit by the team media like little sheep.

The ******* front office needs a scapegoat to keep everyones mind off the fact they ruined the season with their stick in the mud 80s negotiating tactics that kept Bell from returning.

Listen to yourselves, torch burning slave rabble looking for someone to blame that isnt Tomlin or the Rooneys, doing what the master wants by listening to Ed ******* Buchette.

Pathetic

He's asking to be traded..He publicly said so earlier this year and he publicly demonstrated it last week. They need to fine the **** out of him and then trade him. Cut the cancer out and move on.

They NEED to fire Tomlin, Joey Porter and Danny boy and all the ******* derp coaches, thats what THEY need to do.

Oh cant have that, so instead they invent a scapegoat to deflect it all away from them so instead they invent a story to rile up the yinzer mob with bullshit stories

Oh yeah

Man, Spike. You just can't get over Leveon Bell asking twice what he's worth and thrn not getting it.

He just isn't that good man.

So you're saying his knee is actually hurt and all this including him showing up in a fur coat is just a plot to deflect attention away from Tomlin? I'm not buying it. I think it solidifies the argument CMT needs to go.

I think a majority of us are ready to see a change at HC, but I don't think that will change Browns attitude. It's not so much attitude now, it's his personality.

Only if can get us two first round picks. Brown to the Las Vegas Raiders for 25th and 29th pick in round one?

Hmmm... That would give us three first round picks #20, #25, and #29.

We might be forced to take a receiver at pick #25 or pick #29 ( I like AJ Brown's production in the SEC ) , BUT we can get a top ILB and S PLUS we would have Browns and Bell cap space in free agency. ( 37+ million )

DIVA's get the F out. I'm fine with trading Brown.

Brown isn't going anywhere nor should he. Suspension and fines can handle his issues if called for.

The culture needs to change. If not we will only swe more of this **** he does yearly. And from other players probably also. He has money. Fines and suspensions wont stop him. He feels he is above the team. And he has been in the past. Tomlin created this mess. He let this "me" first culture take root and grow. He even was watering it and adding fertilizer along the way. A shame really. You now have players speaking about it. Change is needed. Tomlin's talk is cheap. It means nothing anymore.

Here's the question that I have. Can AB be suspended without pay for 4 games (maybe more) by the team for cause or conduct detrimental w/o the NFLPA forcing them to pay him?

Papillon

oh yeah, AB and his 15 TDs was the reason the Steelers didnt make the playoffs, it must be true, cuz Ed Buchette says so!

BwahahabahahA

You really think conventional disciplinary measures are going to affect him?

The guy flat out quit on his team and blew off both Tomlin and Rooney's attempts to contact him.

There's just no coming back from this, IMO.

Anyone who has followed the Steelers closely knew that Brown was a selfish player, but no one could have imagined it was this bad.

The guy does not care about the team at all. When one of your top players has that mindset, it's toxic to the point being detrimental toward team success.
