Also I heard on the radio today that when they played in Pittsburgh Peyton was very nice to the fans since he wasn't dressed and signed a lot of autographs over the rail but refused to sign Terrible Towels because "It's not my place, that's something that only Steeler players should sign". Class act. He won't sign NY Giants stuff either he said.
That is pretty neat
Of course he may be aware of the Terrible Towel mojo for opposing players too and is afraid to touch it.
I know a lot of people here hate on Peyton, but the dude is a class act. When was the last time his name was on a police blotter or highlighted on the ESPN ticker for anything illegal or immoral? ****, if he were to even cuss, it makes national air time. He's a good damn QB, some argue best ever, and is cordial and polite with fans. Guy I went to school with met Peyton at a fund raiser, before the tv lights came on and media was even there. He said Peyton was a real humble guy and didnt seem conceited or cocky.
That said, i hope he loses Sunday.

Yeah, Peyton is a class act no doubt. Hopefully he has one more choke job up his sleeve though.
Side note, I was within arm distance of him at the hall of fame inductions and I don't ever get starry eyed around many NFL players but damn I did think wow there is one of the best ever.

This thread has turned into a really good one!
Again, I hope we send Peyton into the sunset with Peyton Manning face one more time. I honestly don't mind Denver. they are a well built team, but hey, they are in the way right? I do fear we will let Manning dink-dunk us to death. He doesn't have "the Arm" anymore, but we don't have a D that can cover consistently all the way down the field either. Remember , last game drops hurt them bad....
