Broderick Jones

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

None of us work at the facility. "Finding it hard to believe" is very funny.

Dan Moore Jr. was bad when he was picked and was subpar his whole time here - move on...

The positive side of all this is that I think Broderick became a better player, not offensive lineman, but a player who seen the dark side RT and has made his mind up he in no way wants to end up back there,

Thus he is working his asZ off (literally) to assure his locked down LT position.

There is always a positive, just harder for some than others to find.

I get it but...

How many people saw our All World OL disintegrate in just two seasons? Yes, it's mediocre to stay just above .500 every season; but the team lost that OL, a HOF QB, world class RB in Bell as well as the most dominant WR in the league for 7 seasons in AB - and yet, they still stand and 'don't get knocked out'.

Now that hibernation season is over, I'll continue my optimistic views hoping that this years' draft class can add some spark and make a difference in the final outcome of the season; perhaps the OL gels as they didn't look horrible as the season ended and there is plenty of new young blood up front.

The biggest question is 'who's the veteran QB'??? I don't like the fact that Coach Tomlin is getting bamboozled from A-A Ron and his camp. I'd move on from the idea today, if it were me in charge...
I hate this Aaron Rodger bs. I ******* hate it and what’s it’s doing to our image.
I blame Art for allowing this bs and he needs to tell Tomlin to move on from this old narcissist.

“Our image”

The Steelers were once a respected (even feared) franchise that has pretty much just become a punch line to a joke. Any image worth defending has been gone for quite awhile.

The Rodgers setup is just waiting for that next punchline.

Sad to see how irrelevant in the scheme of the league this ONCE proud franchise has fallen.

Is tainted or tarnished a better word to describe this brand of Steelers?

Maybe tainted or tarnished! This current controlling owner Art II has been a disaster for this franchise.
I don’t know how old you are but I remember how the grandfather ran the franchise in the pre Chuck Noll years. He didn’t know what the **** he was doing and hired bad HCs who would talk him into trading his first round picks for washed up veterans or draft bad college players with their first round picks.
He pretty much was led around by the nose by these HCs for years and were the laughing stock of the league.
This Rooney pretty much the same way. A lot of traits of the grandfather. Both great guys but totally not right for running a franchise. Dan was the savior!

I'm not sold on Jones, but also don't think he is a bust. He has very poor oline coaching, has been yanked around by the team, and last year he had an injury that was reported would not be right all season. Last year he was playing out of position with the injury so we will see what happens.

I like how Clown-lin tries to gloam of the Ravens in an attempt to establish an identity. We AREN'T the Ravens, we are miles from who they are. And their head coach is miles from who Clown-lin is. It's not even close, we fall so short of the Ravens. Give it up Clown-lin.

Dan was the all world HOF owner that comes around once every 100 years, that talent is always going to be hard to replace.

According to the media we've had upper talent most of Clown-lin's tenure. He's just mis-used it nearly the whole time.

Too bad he had to waste two years because they didn't want to hurt Dan Moore in the feels.

Poor management and poor development of young talent.
I think the best move would have been to insert Jones in at LT last season his second year and have traded Dan Moore since he can’t play RT which is pure bs.
I find it hard to believe Moore can’t play RT. It may have been more of he didn’t want to play RT
Jones who had never played RT didn’t ***** about it and tried his best.
Moore was looking down the road at a potential pay day. LTs get paid pretty damn well. Much more than RTs. Selfish I think on Moores’ part.
Yep, and the Titans gave him exactly what he wanted.

Leads me to wonder, HAD we taken Creed H. Way back when,,,,,,,,,,,,, would have he been jacked around as such ???

I can see it now, GREEN playing starting center and Creed subbing in at RG………………….

That is exactly what would have happened. That there Tomlin is a poor man’s moron.

Tomlin does not have final say on draft picks
This in itself is a solid discussion. I have read reports that he did have the final say but you never know what to believe…

Tomlin does not have final say on draft picks

Of course Rooney does, but that doesn’t mean he exercises it for every pick. Outside of the owner, who has the most pull in your opinion, the 18-year HC, the bean counter with the GM title, or the assistant GM who has been with the team for 2 seasons?

For a guy constantly listed at the bottom of his position in the NFL, he should be pleased. But 2025 he is gonna make around $10 mill, let's wait and see how happy TN is when his play will cost $26 mill the following year. Think they will be cool with the turnstyle play at that point?

You know those are just cap allocations? 2025 he is making $30m, but only $10m hits the cap because most of it is signing bonus.

Yep, and the Titans gave him exactly what he wanted.

Can’t blame the player, you and many Moore of us here, would work the same deal as well.

Recognize the root cause as we both know who that is.
