Jordan Berry is scheduled for a visit with the Steelers according to the depot. I hope they're bringing in some other guys for comparison sake. Either way, Colquitt hasn't cut it.

So they are Quitting colquitt?

Unknown at this time. But, it's interesting that they would bring Berry in while they also still have a punter on the PS.

What other team has a punter on its practice squad? Just asking. Right now I’d rather have an extra linebacker.

I didnt like getting rid of Berry to start with. I know he has had some issues, but I thought he was pretty solid last year. Bringing in Colquitt was a lateral at best move

Agree, I didn't think Berry was that bad. His stats last year were solidly mid-pack.

Although I wanted berry gone, Colquit hasn't been the answer. I was hoping for more better competition but limited TC may have the biggest culprit in this episode. If Berry hasn't been sitting around eating Ho-Ho's and can come back to equal his past then it's a save to this gaff. WE need better punting than what we've got but also know that Berry isn't long term answer.

There has to be other punters sitting at home we can call in for a tryout besides the one we cut.

Colquitt looks like he’s compensating for his plant leg for a few games. Bringing in Berry to gain a net 1 yard more doesn’t make sense to me unless an injury is the case. The positive about DC is he has been consistent. Berry either booms or shanks them. Makes me wonder why they aren’t kicking the tires of the kid on their PS roster.

can we just get a P that can kick it 50 yards the best eithier Berry and this old vet is like 44 yds

He wasn't used properly, that's what we will be saying about the PS kid..................... In a month or so.

The couple times Ben punted he wasn’t that bad actually.

Marquette King

No thanks. There is already enough choreographed dances for every catch and tackle made, I don't need to see one for every punt too.

Also, he wasn't too good in 2018. Seems to have lost his leg strength.

Kordell Stewart banged out an 80 yarder, wonder where he is at ???

I'd try BEN on a "DROP" kick, yaz never know.......

EDIT: I think the last successful "drop" kick in the NFL was by Doug Flutie.

Colquitt has been horrendous. It's going to bite the Steelers in the *** sooner or later.
