Either way it is a disadvantage for Steelers, we'll have a short week now to prepare for Eagles. Ridiculous.

No different than playing a MNF game on the schedule. If its Tuesday, then yes that is a huge disadvantage although there is minimal travel involved here with the game in Nashville and next week at home.

dont really need a long week to prepare for Philly watt and dupree are going to eat thier OT i would over load the side Peters is on he is so done bad knees out of shape pure finished goods

If it's Tuesday, the Eagles have basically two more recovery days than the Steelers. That's a hell of an advantage in a league where every advantage counts.

I agree with Tuesday, no so much for a MNF game since we have those every year. Where those MNF games suck is when the team has to fly across the country and come right back to work.

This is better than having our bye 3 weeks into the season then playing TN later in the year.

I mean it will be no different than preparing for a Thursday night game... and the plus side is it gives us a couple more days of prep for the titans, and its philly, an nfc team that matters least in tiebreakers, the week after...

Id much rather play Tuesday than burn the bye week in week 4

Stop it....EVERYONE knows what they signed up for by playing this year....EVERYONE had a chance to OPT OUT...We have an advantage over the TITANS...

Monday night is fine. Tuesday, not so much.

Not really.. they'll have 2 or possibly even 3 days to practice. We have two days to practice and then we travel. What's the advantage?

We have been practicing / preparing all week where as they have had a shut down facility.

It's a short flight. The entire pre-season was canceled, the quality of play did not suffer. 2 days of practice is enough, the coaches still have the same amount of time to implement a game plan.

**** that, then if in our bye we have two covid positives what are they gonna do? Forfeit?

The game will not be televised if it’s played Monday. ESPN has the MNF game and they would be pissed if another is televised during that time, it would kill their ratings. This game will be played Tuesday and then televised.

I think today will be our first practice..

I guess I shouldn't have used the word "practice" and simply said their facility is closed and ours isn't. MEANING we can have normal leading up to the game. Usually Monday's players only come in for "trainer" type stuff, Tuesday is meetings / film / work-outs, rest of week as usual.

The **** didn't get that option.

IMO remove the players who tested positive and find another venue to practice. It’s all bull crap.

Every team should have had a back up plan in place just in case.
