I really like this pick and what value here. This guy was very productive at Temple and then at the U. Good pick Steelers!

Guys got some explosive quickness. Great instincts toward the ball. Well just from what I saw on his clips.

to add more pass-rushing depth if toney is atill there take him in the 7th 2 youngsters in roche and if Toney tyo push and perhaps send Marsh packing, as since he signed him I saw nothing at all, no great moter pass rush moves

Watched the compressed game tape vs. Florida State. Miami defense dominates. And yikes, I can see why Jaelen Phillips was drafted so high. Roche is number 2, spent most of the game at RDE in a 3-point stance, also several plays where he is in a 2-point stance, including one where he drops into coverage.

His pass rush moves are really, really good. The problem is that when he tries to bull rush, he is overwhelmed. His inside move is lightning quick, but the opposition better be passing because once he darts inside, if the team runs left (to his side), there is no defender there. He logged one sack in the game, as well as a nice play where he tackled the running back for a 5-yard loss.

Not a particularly strong defender. Tackles simply stuff him at the LOS when he tries to bull rush and he generally stops rushing and just watches the play. Was he told to keep an eye on the FSU quarterback, Jordan Travis, a guy who is a LOT better running the ball than throwing? Don't know. But the fact he seemed to basically stop trying once he is stood up has to grade against him.
