Thought we would grab Humphrey here but Freiermuth is a great TE. He can block and can get open downfield and has soft hands. We needed a TE as we had no one after Ebron and Ebron is gone after this year. Here is our TE for the next decade. They knew this was their guy as they basically ran to the podium and used almost no time on the clock.

When you establish Green was probably the center the Steelers wanted, Freiermuth was the clear BAP for the Steelers in the second. Really weren’t many other good options.

I mean let's be honest. Ebron is a big slot. He couldn't block if his life depended on it.

The Washington game all he had to do was put a hand and push Chase & it was a Steelers TD.

Instead he let him by and Snell was grabbed by ankle before he could even jump.

It’s those little things that add up. Hines Ward made a career out of blocking at WR. He got 2 rings and damn near a 3rd.
