BREAKING: Steelers Draft Pat Freiermuth

He was moved around for PSU you can line him up in various formations. Slot, etc. The team is building quite the explosive offense. Plus he brings a physical element to the O with nice hands.
 
I like the pick he fits the typical Steelers mold for a TE and he can block very well. At this point I'm starting to worry because the Steelers need depth on the O-line but perhaps even worse than that is that we need CB. With only Joe Haden, Cam Sutton & Justin Layne our Secondary is starting to look Circa 2017. WTF good is a Top Tier NFL RB if you don't have a secondary who can defend against the pass and the Steelers are playing catchup from behind it almost takes Najee Harris and his running game out of the game plan! Tomlin might be all Gung-Ho on James Pierre a Free Agent walk on from last season but I don't think he's starting material in the NFL and he never will be. What other DB's do we even have on the roster at this point?

We need CB, CB, O-line!

I read his blocking needs work, but great at catching

To be fair they probably don't see Pierre as a starter as much as the Hilton nickle dime role.

It was really nice of Franco Harris to learn how to pronounce Freiermuth's name correctly before he stepped to the podium. Oh wait.
 
Ebron signed a 2 year contract. With all his dropsies last season who knows if he will be extended. Talk about thin @ TE. Let’s hope we have a solid guy for the next 5+ years. It would be about time.
