I don't think it's not giving Chuks a chance as much as it was just giving Feiler a chance to continue to grow and solidify the spot.

I thought he did a pretty damn good job at RT, especially the 2018 season protecting Big Ben. He followed it up with a pretty similar performance in 2019 during our QB shuffle.

Oof. So much for Tomlin's comment that he could still be in the mix of capable bodies in some form or fashion, on violent blades of grass, to compete in a stadium environment, who makes no apologies if you will. Obviously.

IR doesn't mean the same as it did years past. The guy can come off it in three weeks.

:lol: Personally I love the way Tomlin speaks, it trolls all the Steeler fans and it gives the media nothing. I love it.
 
I tune out when Tomlin speaks, because it's gibberish and gets people riled up for absolutely no practical reason in my mind. Like you said, it gives the media (and us fans) essentially nothing.

I just like to see his and our team's performance in a stadium environment.

Let us not paint it with a broad brush, Denver will come to Heinz and the Steelers will defend every blade of grass with a roster filled with high pedigree above the neck players obviously. They will not live in the fears they will live in their hopes. mind you obviously it isn't what they are capable of but what they are willing to do. We demand victory as excuses are tools of the incompetent. Obviously the standard is the standard so let's dream the wild dreams we dreamt when we were young. Everyone with a helmet is in the mix as we understand the bed we made, will we lay in it? Football is our game but our job is to win, what is adversity to some is opportunity for other if you will .I got a hard core plan for Sunday but I am light on my feet, obviously the Ravens can confirm. Unfortunately it is a one fail all fail proposition I am looking for a no blink mentality obviously. I will be looking for splash plays as we aren't reinventing the wheel schematically. This is positive examples what team ball is about but if you are going to talk you gotta walk. Man I am just looking for nuggets of success, Hopefully in succeeding in the face of adversity strengthens us for the battles that await. Tomorrow it is time to go to the mattresses if you will! Not worried obviously it isn't our first rodeo -the arrow is pointing up. What are haters saying? I don't worry about that that's elevator music. I expect action, continuity, efforts... covid? wrap a bow around the season and let's move on from there. Here comes our bell cow and Ben our battle tested guy simply fundamental, it isn't anything mystical..............obviously it's time to get on the moving train.

Torn Pecs are gonna be more than 3 weeks. JJ WAtt missed 16=5 games because of it last year...This guy is probably done for the year

Just looked and JJ WAtt hasn't played more than 8 games in 4 out of the last 5 years

I heard on the radio that there was a chance he would play this Sunday and if not they assume he would be a go the following week. I believe it was Gerry Dulac who stated this.

Gerry Dulac tweeted Wis could miss 3 - 4 games. We will see I guess. I hope you are wrong.
 
I remember when he was drafted some of you were like he was going to win the starting job. I was kinda of the opinion of no chance. He will need at least a year. Well this is football. Sometimes opportunity comes faster than you think or maybe should. My hope is for good. Good gets through Sunday with a win and DD back next week or maybe one more. It will be pretty tough with basically one start between two guys on that side. Chuks has no excuse. It's his time. Sink or swim.
 
I wish #69 luck. Does anyone know why he didn't offer a campus workout after not being invited to the combine?

According to PFF, Dotson didn't allow a QB pressure in 42 passing snaps! DD can sit as far as I'm concerned.

Only if he isn't 100%, otherwise DD is our RG. Good to know that KDot has some future promise for us.

Perhaps you throw him at mix with Feiler for the start sooner than later after DD's return. Reality of it is he probably will start next year but provides excellent depth.

Feiler is a guy we probably should have signed long term before the season started. So far, so good for Feiler at LG. If the plan is to push Dotson to LG next season, then I think we will be fine there and we just need to draft more depth.

Cushenberry who some of us had an eye on in the draft didn't fair as well.

Center Lloyd Cushenberry couldn't hold up against Tyson Alualu, allowing eight pressures on 47 pass-blocking snaps.
