BREAKING: DL Stephon Tuitt OUT FOR THE SEASON with Torn Pectoral

How many teams have lost a HOF starting QB this season? Yeah, one.
The Saints but Brees is only on the 8 week DL.

Yeesh what a year to have given away your next years round one.
I still think the Redskins would give us their #1 for Tomlin. There's still a chance.

The good news is that Heyward is still a stud on the line... and hargrave can be used more... nothing will replace a guy having an all pro type year, but you don’t need three studs across the line and there is depth there...

Well, they better hope Nelson and Haden stay healthy the rest of the year. No pressure up front means those scrubs will be destroyed on the back end. They got any more trades they can pull out of their ***?

Well ****. I was hoping it wasn't to that degree. Just have bad juju all around this year.

A pity, he was hav ing his best season. Heal up big guy,

what a year to have given away your next years round one. **** it just looks more ****** by the game.

I can’t imagine a first round choice by Tombert that could impact the defense any better than Fitzpatrick who is just as young as a new pick and as promising from what I’ve observed thus far.

I see your point the guys backing up our starters at CB.

we can try to pilfer from someone's practice squad like:
Taylor Stallworth - DT - last played for the Saints - out of South Carolina - 6'2", 305

or call up Buggs and sign someone else to our own PS

Really. So TJ Watt and Devin Bush don't look more promising to you. I think some of you need to go to the stats on this. He has two more interceptions and less than 10 more pass defenses them Edmunds. Tackles are pretty close and he played an extra year. I'm hearing bust grumblings about Edmunds.

I'm pretty good with no more trades. The ****** season was over week two. If they can hold serve beating the Dolphins, Bungles, one of the Browns games and perhaps the Cardinals. That is six wins. Maybe pick up a 7th in a bit of an upset like the Colts. That would get them to only surrendering an upper middle first round pick which would feel a lot more reasonable.

Sorry. I meant this above.

What happened to L.T. Walton, he looked decent in rotation there for a while then just seemed to drop off the face of the Earth. He has game experience, knows the system & can be had on the cheap.

Big loss but hopefully we'll see what Buggs has. I really liked him as a draft pick.

Buggs got some attitude too. Hope he's been working & studying, he may see a much bigger role sooner rather than later.

Time to bring up Henry Mondeaux from the Practice Squad and see what he can do. DIdn't look too bad in the pre-season....looks like we will see Isiah Buggs a little bit too from here on out. Sucks to see Tuitt go down especially considering the year he was having up to this point. Get him ready for our run next year!

Mondeaux looked pretty good, but against scrubs. Don't know if he works into the rotation.

Inasmuch as the Bucs gave the Raiders a first and second in 2002, a first in 2003, and a second in 2004, plus cash over the three years, the deal had better be for way way more than a single first. Although the Steelers are chumpy of late.

The Bucs set the market. HCMT is every bit the media darling Chuky was back then. Chuky was 'only' 40-28 in Oakland. HCMT is 198-127 not counting playoffs and has 2 SB appearances including a win.

And Mr. Snyder has wood.

The Skins need to do a Ditka in 20 and a 1 and a 2 in 21. And a pile of cash. Don't be chumpy again, Steelers!

I totally agree with not going cheap on Tomlin but also don't price yourself out of him being gone !

Salute the nation

Tyson Alualu is the next man up and has proven to be more than capable. He was the one who pressured and deflected River's pass that led to Bush's interception. Of course we'll now get a good look at Buggs, plus some sort of rotation with Hargrave and McCullers.

It sucks to lose Tuitt but looking on the bright side, Alualu is having his best season yet & I'm excited to see Buggs get some action. Dude was a terror in college against top shelf teams.
