Brady wins

Wigwam note Florio's point's 7-16. What say you ?

The NFL has earned the inherent lack of trust since 2012, from: (1) imposing cap penalties on Dallas and Washington for contracts executed in the uncapped year that were approved when filed to (2) trumping up “bounty” charges against the Saints based on players getting a modest amount of cash for the application of clean, legal hits that they already had an incentive to apply to (3) ignoring the fact that other teams had been using “bounties” for years (including teams coached by former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, the mastermind of the bounty scandal) to (4) hiring an outside lawyer to provide the patina of legitimacy to an investigation which found in part that Anthony Hargrove shouted “Bobby, give me my money!” when closer inspection of the audio and video is conclusive at best to (5) a second suspension of Ray Rice that clearly violated his rights under the CBA to (6) the manipulation of league policies to keep Adrian Peterson off the field for the 2014 stretch run against the Vikings because someone apparently had decided in September that Peterson wouldn’t be playing again this year to (7) the sudden abandonment of a 95-year history of not paying any attention to the air pressure in footballs in the apparent hopes of catching the Patriots cheating to (8) the complete lack of any understanding that the air pressure in footballs decreases on cold days to (9) the leak of grossly false air-pressure information to a pair of prominent journalists in order to create a national presumption of cheating to (10) the failure to correct that blatantly false information to (11) the hiring of a lawyer for an “independent” investigation that clearly wasn’t independent to (12) the review of the “independent” investigator’s report by the league’s general counsel to (13) the refusal to make the league’s general counsel answer questions about his role to (14) suspending Tom Brady for “general awareness” of an equipment violation, in violation of the CBA and the “law of the shop” to (15) expressing righteous indignation over Brady “destroying” his phone in the hopes of swaying public opinion against him to (16) attempting to suspend Brady for obstructing an investigation even though no player had ever been suspended for obstructing an investigation, the findings and conclusions of the league office as currently constructed on matters of discipline cannot be accepted at face value.

in 2008 a federal judge threw out two NFL suspensions... in 2011 both were reinstated on appeal, though one had settled already beforehand and took his suspension.... Last Year Adrian Peterson got a suspension vacated through the courts... that's expected to eventually get overturned... this brady case will too. the judge at best should have sent it back to the CBA's arbitration process... he doesn't have the right to do what he did and will get knocked down like the other judges who have done this were... there is a longstanding rule about judges screwing with arbitrators and the appealate court almost always reverses it when they do... enjoy 2015 and 12016... when he loses and gets suspended for 2017 he will retire instead like all the rest of the cheats that have gone this same route

Possible but the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals for the Southern District of New York has only vacated 7% of Collective Bargaining Arbitration Decisions by the primary court over the last 20 years i believe. It may not be the slam dunk you believe it to be.

Yet the NFL has a sterling record there when it comes to player suspensions... because unfortunately the NFL Lawyers and Goodell are pompous ******** and judges go out of their way to knock them down a peg... The Failure to provide notice ruling was a joke and again the process questions should have led him to send it back through the arbitration process... and there is ample precedent that agreeing to someone as an arbitrator in a CBA is allowed and if they are dumb enough to appoint a biased idiot, then they get what they get... Brady and the Pats approved that CBA... the Steelers did not. they warned you that he was a jackass and your players opted to sell their soul for money... Brady will serve his suspension or retire to avoid it... Its also noteworthy that the judge didn't absolve him of guilt... just pointed out flaws in the process... Brady did it... Cheating like always..

The point is this verdict would set major precident and fundamentally impare the arbitration process... this is exactly the type of case the higher courts don't let stand unless its really blatently illegal, which I mean Brady';s lawyer threw everything out there hoping to get the judges ear somewhere... its not standing

Point taken. Tough to predict rulings on findings that end up in the Appellate Courts especially not knowing the views of the Justices that will be hearing these issues. The only certainty will be the lengthy nature of the proceedings.

a second suspension of Ray Rice that clearly violated his rights under the CBA to (

Unfortunately Scoober, Berman has begun the process of unraveling the CBA. While I'm among the last to defend Goodell, His attempt to hold the Cheat's accountable for their repeated and blatant violations is actually about the only decent thing he's done in his tenure.

Br*dy and the the cheat fans can cry all they want about the injustice of the ruling but the fact is, He (Br*dy, was absolutely interfering with an investigation and covering up a much larger scandal. Nobody is confused about that and Br*dy destroyed evidence. Can it be proven? Nope. But Goodell has given harsher punishments for lesser crimes based on less evidence. This is hardly a blip on the commissioner's record.P*t's fans simply need to switch to more absorbent pads.

P.S. Thanks ESPN for finally having the balls to give out at least a partial view of the Spygate story. It's time people FINALLY got to see from a real source something of the truth. Sadly, the article doesn't go quite far enough. But, it's better than nothing.

And Scoober's gone...

Dust in the wind. All he was is dust in the wind....

all just convenient occurrences. nothing more.

Once fed with real facts ad truths, you'd think most cheatriot fans would leave. HELL no, most flcktards get inslted and resort to crybaby pissy pants tactics.................

Salute the nation

hope it really happens

Im telling you they will eventually win and Brady will retire the next day... but I dont expect it till next year at the earliest...probably longer than that even. if karma is at all in play, I hope its right before the playoffs though

After reading the article, the headline seems a bit misleading. The contents of the article seem to imply the direct opposite of what is stated in the headline.

Maybe we get lucky and he goes on a rampage after he hears the 4 game suspension is upheld, and he ends up in prison showering with Hernandez for the next couple of years.

AH: Tom! Hit me, I'm open!
TB: You know I can't hit that deep, but I do love big targets in the short routes.
AH: I'm gonna butter your bread.
TB: Oooww! Empty carbs! Cut me off some protein 81.
AH: Tommy *****! I love when you call my number.
---END SCENE--

LOL I saw Kansas last night and natch that was one of the songs they did. Hope Rothlisberger's absence is brief.

And we were right on all of this stuff... well except Bw*dy retiring... yet..... Let me tell you what's going to happen if he appeals to the full court... they are going to completely shut it down... the supreme court? yeah that's never getting heard either... and there will be fast decisions on those, so it shouldn't drag out into the season much if at all... As for the pats fans hopes of a personal lawsuit... that's laughable... again he destroyed the phone and came up with some absurd excuses to the judge... if you want to see how that will play out go read the hearing notes again... he is ******

4 game paychecks for Brady = $????????. Stuff that in an envelope and ask the judge to make a ruling and, lo and behold, thrown out! So, Brady keeps his image intact. Judge has lots of money to spend on hookers and weed, and Belicheat doesn't have to hope the Gappippopo can learn how to cheat as effectively as Brady. Everyone wins!!

Brady's re-did his salary if ya remember. He will be losing nowhere near what he would have if the suspension took place last year.
