All joking aside....does this give players now the option to throw these matters to the court? Hell, if I'm looking at losing 4 games checks which is 1/4 of my pay for the year....you damn well better believe I'm fighting it, especially for a little weed.

Ben gets 4 games and was never charged. This turd gives the ok to deflate footballs, destroys his cell phone and lies and gets nothing in the end. What a complete travesty and utter embarrassment for the NFL. So now the precedent has been set for other players who have been suspended to bring it to the courts.

I knew Brady was never going to serve a day of suspension. Ah well, here's hoping karma bites him in the ***, but I'm not counting on it. He will always be a cheater to everyone but *Pats fans.

I hate that ********, but EVERY player in the league suspended by Goodell and having their appeal heard by him needs to file a suit right now. Their weak *** Union didn't stop it, but the court just did. In the end it may have fixed a bigger issue. Those footballs had zero bearing on the *** whipping they put on Indy anyways, it was always about his cheating *** lying about it for me. Time to move on, it's over.
Meh the league will appeal and win. Three years down the line Br*d*y will retire before serving a day... starcaps all over again... Going as planned by all parties, I am sure... heck Goodell probably intentionally left Pash out of the appeal to open this up
the thing is the League is far less likely to be able to get a stay or injunction than Brady would have been. There si no pressing need to keep him out of the start of the season. the suspension can be served anytime. If this were reversed, Brady would have been much more likely to get one... he was playing regardless
Not shocking. Seriously, with the way this team played against Buffalo, preseason or not, they now face Tom Brady and the Patriots (with an axe to grind) in their home stadium, before a national audience. UGH!! Not going to be pretty. I'd like to see the line in Vegas now. Probably double digits.

Steelville, listen to yourself. It could be a perfectly legal hit but with the Steelers luck lately, Deebo would be suspended the entire season and fined a gazillion dollars while the other two would get an 8 game suspension and fined a half gazzilion dollars.

Ideally this is an expedited process and the suspension comes this year... most likely this is drawn out even longer than the Minnesota appeal and it doesnt get resolved till 2017 or 18

i hope the appeal is drawn out and the hearing is heard in December with a ruling just before Christmas that Brady is suspended four games starting in week 15.
This has become the standard for players now... get a suspension they dont like, challenge it in court knowing that the NFL is so awkward and arrogant that the judge will likely give them a "F U" ruling just to prove a point, then when the appeal is finally lost years later, just retire.... seriously the duo who sued for the starcap incident paved the road for this
