Brady wins

In our heart of hearts-

Everyone including myself never expected dude to serve any suspension. Brady is the golden boy.
 
so the judge who rarely ever goes against CBA's just did... smh... its all fixed.. the whole roger vs Kraft smokescreen.
 
Total BS. The judge has NO authority in this - especially on the non-cooperation issue. If he wins this, then any player can appeal a suspension that might be for "conduct detrimental to the league". The NFL will appeal and win. Most already said the appeals court is very conservative on these matters and would reverse an overturn. I hope it happens just in time for the playoffs so he can sit, get bounced from the playoffs and then miss a game or two to start next season.

This is pissed off talk but every player fined, suspended or had any punishment toward them should come out and file suit against Gödel and his office . Ben should be all over this as well as ever NFL team. Why have a commissioner when he has just lost all power. I am just shocked that the reasoning of this judge is as announced.
 
it is very possible NFL appeals and wins a stay, meaning the suspension is in tact until the appeal ruling.
 
As I said, every person ever fined or suspended by Roger should have a lawyer drafting a letter right now.

The NFL should be writing some checks. Clearly the Commissioner does NOT have the authority to hand down fines or suspensions. And those lawyers' fees will be covered by the NFLPA, thank you very much. You bring the gasoline, I got the matches.

I am not surprised.. This is going to open up a can of worms that no one is going to be able to close .. I would not be surprised if EVERYONE starts to appeal

Although I did not think the judge had the right to overturn the suspension -- I though it was the PROCESS that was being appealed ....

Time to move on .. nothing is going to change -- I just hope the Marcia gets what is coming to him ..

What a complete joke. Why is a federal judge who I'm sure has much more important business to attend getting involved with a private entity like the NFL? Then why have rules at all if now the precedent has been set for players to take their cases to the high courts. The NFL has become an utter joke and is being dictated to by people like Kraft and high profile players like Brady. I'm getting closer to putting childish things like the NFL away for good. Its certainly not the league I grew up with, loaded with prima donnas, criminals and drug addicts.
 
The way to solve this is to have the players appeal every suspension, fine, and penalty to the court system.

Fined for being late to a meeting - that's bullshit, take it to court.

Suspended for getting nabbed for the chronic for the 5th time (I'm looking at you Bryant) - that's bullshit, take it to court.
