Brady, Hall of Fame?

I know it won't happen, but if Bonds, and Clemens can't make the Baseball Hall Of Fame, why should Brady make Canton? I hope at the very least, he's made to wait a few years before he gets in.
 
Definitely should not be a first ballot. Four rings all tied to cheating.
 
Not only will he be in, but he'll be in on the first ballot. Honestly, if the guy admitted to this months ago, no one (except Steelers and Colts fans) would even care anymore.

How many titles does he have without Proven cheating? None

I think the NFL should forgo the 5 year eligibility rule and allow Brady in this August while he's still active in the NFL.:anyone:

The thing is, if you believe that he's been doing this since 2007, then his records are suspect too.
 
regardless he will get in on the first ballot... There still is a ton of talent in that player. Cheating only helped them a bit... bonds will be in eventually too, but MLB is more hardcore on these things

It is not accurate to try and separate him or his accomplishments from the cheating.
 
The only way he doesn't make it in on first ballot is if there are a majority of voters who hold a grudge against him. I can't see that happening.

And I don't really care anymore. Patriots, Belichick and Brady and their epic run will be lauded long after we're gone - and the record books won't have any * in them.

Eh this makes two scandles... that will hang over them for a while... Raiders of the 70's still are known as cheaters leaguewide.

Name one player who used a corked bat and was kept out of the hall for it. Gambling and Steroids are the closest things to an exclusion for any hall of fame to date... I think some voters will shy on BB for a couple years, but Brady is a 1st time lock.
 
I don't give a ****. I'm worried about how our draft picks will perform. Really sick of all the whining about the Patriots.
 
Brady, Peyton, and Rogers get in HOF first ballot tomorrow!!!!! Breese, Ben, Ely are next up.

Exactly. Spygate evidence would have proved that T*m knew where the defense would be based on their formation and audibles. IMO, that's cheating and his records are all tainted.

Backup QB with no collegiate success turns into S*p*rm*n once in the NFL. Bah humbug!
 
It would be easier to just draft a bunch of kids from some no name school and change the scoreboard so we win every game, should not be too hard to do and I do not think there are rules against it, we can win them all and get number 7
 
Cant stand the guy but he will be a first ballot hof'er. Should he be? thats open to debate but i wouldnt put spygate or delate gate on the same level as steroids in baseball or pete rose etc. It was/is still wrong but, especailly with spygate, i view it as more of a TEAM cheating than just one player.
 
Paul Hornung was suspended for gambling on NFL games. He got reinstated and inducted into the hall of fame. The golden boy will definitely get in.
 
He is the Golden Boy he will get in. This should tarnish his career along with the Pats organization but the sports media will ignore this story after a few days. The no cooperation by Brady tells a lot about his pompous attitude, would have loved to been at the dinner table with Brady and his wife when this was announced.
 
Bettis said on ESPN that Brady probably wont get in on his first ballot... but then said there's still a lot of football to be played and that Brady will be in the HOF.
