Boykin better be tge starter!!

The 2015 transition tag for Corners was 11M and some change. It's probably going to go up 10-20 percent this year so it would be extremely expensive to do so.

Wow, $11mil for a TRANSITION player? I hope we find a way to keep him somehow.

Blake made a nice pick from zone coverage... which is why he is best suited as a safety.. But he also took an inside read on a missed tackle that nearly cost us points on the long run... Boykin and cockrell both are better suited at the role he is in, though I do understand why they put boykin in the third CB slot role... he is really good at it. Blakes splash play doesn't make up for his technical faults... his hips are stiff and he is better with the play in front of him. We are very fortunate that AJ McCarron couldn't grip the ball in the rain... I'm not sure we will be as lucky in Denver

If we win with boykin, its possible he wants to stay here for a reasonable number... teams might not be throwing starter money at a slot guy, despite how great he is at it

I think you're really on to something with Blake at safety. It would cover up his deficiencies while highlighting his strengths.

I still think Mitchell is better suited for SS

he isn't a ballhawk he more often than not is looking only for the hit over the INT...
